/PRZWT/On September 27, 2025, the first event of the "Jinjiang Art Season" (Season 4) was titled "Energy Pulse - Idea!" The "Idea Art Exhibition" is now open at the Xu Liaoyuan Modern Design Art Museum in Chengdu.
This exhibition is guided by the Chengdu Federation of Literary and Art Circles and the Chengdu Federation of Literary and Art Circles, hosted by the Publicity Department of the CPC Jinjiang District Committee of Chengdu City, and organized by the Chengdu Jinjiang District Federation of Literary and Art Circles. Yang Xiaoyang, vice chairperson of the Sichuan Provincial Federation of Literary and Art Circles, secretary of the Party group and chairperson of the Chengdu Municipal Federation of Literary and Art Circles, attended the event.
This exhibition takes "art and culture + green development" as its main thread, focusing on the ecological environment protection practices and achievements of Jinjiang. It has gathered the inspirations of 34 young artists and collaborated with teachers and students from two schools in the district to jointly create 86 wonderful environmental protective-themed works. The work, through diverse artistic languages such as painting, video, installation and digital media, presents a contemporary art form that breaks boundaries, allowing the audience to personally experience the "energy pulse" of Jinjiang.
At the exhibition site, the exhibition hall is no longer merely a container but has become a perceptible medium. The interweaving of diverse forms such as easel painting, graffiti, digital images, and eco-friendly installations, with minute details and grand narratives, real objects and virtual signals, static moments and flowing processes, transforms the invisible ecological energy and environmental protection concepts into perceptible visual and physical scenes.
Among them, the young artist Liu Xiaoyi brought his "Mark" series of works. These paintings, composed of colorful lines and geometric patterns, are all imprints of the roads in Chengdu. It is understood that all these works are named after the longitude and latitude of the shooting locations. Regarding this, he explained, "This is done to facilitate the future tracing of the places visited, regardless of whether they still retain their original appearance." In terms of creative approach, Liu Xiaoyi also incorporates a strong personal expression. "I disassemble elements from the ground marks, and then combine my subjective color perception and the mood at that time to create, turning those originally ordinary road marks into unique coordinates brimming with personal emotions."
In addition, three senior students from Geely University spent a month creating the IP for this exhibition - a cloud image of "gluttonous ideas" dressed all in pink, wearing mint green boots and grinning wide. It leaped vigorously on the exhibition hall wall, echoing the "Pulsation" theme with highly saturated contrasting colors, playful and cute, attracting countless eyes. It's a great honor to participate in this art exhibition. After meeting so many outstanding young artists, I have a better understanding of the surprises and beauty that art and design bring to people's lives. The students said.
Among the works in the exhibition, what is particularly eye-catching are "Zhen - Composition of Childhood Fun" and "Zhen - Echoes of Nature", jointly created by the young artist Li Yuanbai and the children from Chengdu Normal University Affiliated Primary School and Chengdu No.7 Middle School Yucai Affiliated Primary School Jinguanyi Branch. They used dead branches as natural carriers and ingeniously combined discarded materials such as cowhide, paper scraps, transparent paper cups, and CDS, endowing them with new forms and vitality to create an eco-friendly installation that resonates visually with nature. The work conveys the core concept of "recycling waste and coexisting with nature", and due to the infuse of a childlike perspective, it makes the environmental protection concept shed its preaching and touch people's hearts in a simple yet vibrant way.
It is learned that with the opening of the "Idea Art Exhibition", the "Jinjiang Art Season" (Season 4) series of activities have also officially kicked off. To further implement the district committee's decisions and plans on promoting the integrated development of culture, business, tourism, sports and exhibitions, this year's "Jinjiang Art Season" will take "Coexistence and Symbiosis" as its theme, exploring "art + Digital Technology", "Art + green Development" and "Art + tourism exhibitions". A series of cultural and artistic activities such as the "Jinjiang and Zhongjiang 'Two Rivers' Art Exchange Exhibition", the "Music Tide Jinjiang AIGC First Art Exhibition", and the "Children's Music Festival" were held to empower the development of Jinjiang with art.
