/PRZWT/Yiwu, December 3, 2024 - New Ceramic Future was invited to attend the 2024 China Inorganic Membrane Industry Development Summit Forum

In the context of the national "dual carbon drive, green development" strategy, the "2024 China Inorganic Membrane Industry Development Summit Forum" was grandly opened in Yiwu, Zhejiang, attended by more than 100 inorganic membrane industry representatives, experts, scholars and technicians from across the country.

With the theme of "Innovation, Integration and Development", this forum aims to promote the technological progress and industrial upgrading of the inorganic membrane industry through all-round and multi-angle exchanges and discussions. The convening of the forum is not only a positive response to the technological breakthrough of high-performance separation membrane materials in the national "14th Five-Year Plan", but also a thorough implementation of the "Made in China 2025" membrane products as a key material development focus.

The meeting began with a speech by Zheng Genjiang, chairperson of the China Membrane Industry Association. He said that the development of the inorganic membrane industry, as an important part of the national strategic emerging industries, is of great significance for promoting the green transformation of environmental protection, energy, chemical, biopharmaceutical and other industries. Especially in the context of achieving the national strategic goals of peak carbon dioxide emissions and carbon neutrality, the development of low-energy, low-carbon, and environmentally friendly inorganic separation membranes is of great significance and practical application value.

The forum also invited academician Ma Jun from Harbin Institute of Technology and academician Wang Rong from Nanyang Technological University in Singapore to present reports on the development prospects of inorganic membranes in urban and rural water purification under the vision of carbon neutrality and the development and application of new low-cost ceramic-based composite nanofiltration membranes.

After expressing her gratitude to the organizing committee and the invitation of New Porcelain Future, Academician Wang Rong explained the four research contents, and showed the examples and full application scenarios of the research contents in multi-channel ceramic membrane modules. Finally, she gave relevant suggestions on the upgrading and recycling of ceramic membranes. The participation of the two academicians added academic authority and international vision to this forum, reflecting the general trend of our country's film industry towards internationalization, diversification, resource utilization and intelligent production.

At the forum, Zhang Qianli, chairperson of New Ceramic Future (Shanghai) Materials Co., Ltd., was invited to share the theme of "Ceramic Membrane Development Trend: Ceramic Membrane Technology, Market and Business Cooperation Model".

At the meeting, Chairperson Zhang Qianli depicted the vast prospects of the domestic and international markets of ceramic membranes through the comparison of organic polymer materials and inorganic materials as an entry point; secondly, combined with the development of high-quality drinking water, he shared the successful experience of how to achieve "more, faster, better, and more" in the construction of modular integrated ceramic ultrafiltration water plants. In terms of ultrafiltration and nanofiltration systems, compared with traditional systems, the comprehensive investment cost per ton of water can be reduced by about 20%. At the same time, in terms of pure foundry and the collaborative innovation model of upstream and downstream enterprises, he proposed the construction of "scientist innovation transformation platform, process application technology service platform,

Ceramic Membrane System NPI Innovation Platform, Ceramic Membrane Collaborative Innovation Research Institute "The concept of sharing the platform, in order to empower the brand and the engineering side, and achieve symbiosis and win-win in a true sense; finally, he released the new product of New Porcelain Future Pillar Ceramic Membrane - Cluster Hollow Fiber Ceramic Membrane System, which received a warm response from the industry.

It is worth mentioning that Dr. Li Dongfei from Singapore's SINCERA company, in his report "Limitations of Traditional Organic Membrane and Opportunities for Innovative Ceramic Membrane in the New Situation", made a data exposition on the serious harm of micro/nano plastics to the human body. At the same time, he mentioned that the "United Nations Environment Assembly" organized by the United Nations Environment Programme this week will issue a restrictive document with international legal binding force on the plastics industry, which is undoubtedly a major positive news for the field of inorganic membranes, thus confirming the broad prospects of ceramic membranes in the domestic and international markets.

Hosted by the China Inorganic Membrane Industry Association, this forum aims to provide a platform for professionals in the field of inorganic membranes to communicate and cooperate, and promote the technological progress and industrial upgrading of the industry. The forum is held once a year and has become one of the most influential annual events in the inorganic membrane industry. It will also have a profound impact on the development of the inorganic membrane industry, inject new impetus into the sustainable development of the industry, and help to achieve the long-term goals of national water resources security and environmental protection.
