In the context of the national "dual carbon drive, green development" strategy, the "2024 China Inorganic Membrane Industry Development Summit Forum" was grandly opened in Yiwu, Zhejiang, attended by more than 100 inorganic membrane industry representatives, experts, scholars and technicians from across the country.
With the theme of "Innovation, Integration and Development", this forum aims to promote the technological progress and industrial upgrading of the inorganic membrane industry through all-round and multi-angle exchanges and discussions. The convening of the forum is not only a positive response to the technological breakthrough of high-performance separation membrane materials in the national "14th Five-Year Plan", but also a thorough implementation of the "Made in China 2025" membrane products as a key material development focus.
The meeting began with a speech by Zheng Genjiang, chairperson of the China Membrane Industry Association. He said that the development of the inorganic membrane industry, as an important part of the national strategic emerging industries, is of great significance for promoting the green transformation of environmental protection, energy, chemical, biopharmaceutical and other industries. Especially in the context of achieving the national strategic goals of peak carbon dioxide emissions and carbon neutrality, the development of low-energy, low-carbon, and environmentally friendly inorganic separation membranes is of great significance and practical application value.
The forum also invited academician Ma Jun from Harbin Institute of Technology and academician Wang Rong from Nanyang Technological University in Singapore to present reports on the development prospects of inorganic membranes in urban and rural water purification under the vision of carbon neutrality and the development and application of new low-cost ceramic-based composite nanofiltration membranes.
After expressing her gratitude to the organizing committee and the invitation of New Porcelain Future, Academician Wang Rong explained the four research contents, and showed the examples and full application scenarios of the research contents in multi-channel ceramic membrane modules. Finally, she gave relevant suggestions on the upgrading and recycling of ceramic membranes. The participation of the two academicians added academic authority and international vision to this forum, reflecting the general trend of our country's film industry towards internationalization, diversification, resource utilization and intelligent production.
