Liu Jianghua, Vice Mayor of Chuzhou Municipal People's Government, Zhao Tao, Deputy Director of Anhui Provincial Track and Field Swimming Sports Management Center, Fu Jun, Director of Chuzhou Municipal Education and Sports Bureau, Li Zuoren, Deputy Minister of the Publicity Department of the CPC Chuzhou Municipal Committee, Zhu Guangyi, Deputy Director of Chuzhou Municipal Urban Management Bureau, and Ding Demou, Director of Anhui Region of Dongpeng Beverage (Group) Co., LTD., attended the press conference. Representatives from many mainstream media outlets and running clubs from all over the country were invited to attend the press conference.
At the meeting, Liu Jianghua, the vice mayor of Chuzhou Municipal People's Government, delivered a welcoming speech, extending a warm welcome to all the leaders, guests, media and running club friends present at the press conference. He said that Chuzhou City adheres to the principle of attracting people, promoting industry and invigorating the city through competitions. The craze for mass fitness is surging, competitive sports are reporting good news frequently, and the sports industry is brimming with vitality. The Dongpeng Water Replenishment 2025 Chuzhou Marathon will present a high-level, distinctive, and splendid sports event, fully showcasing the brand-new image of a modern new Chuzhou in the new stage.
Fu Jun, the director of the Education and Sports Bureau of Chuzhou City, released the basic information and highlights of the Dongpeng Water Replenishment 2025 Chuzhou Marathon on the spot.
This event is jointly hosted by the Sports Bureau of Anhui Province and the People's Government of Chuzhou City, organized by the Education and Sports Bureau of Chuzhou City, with the Anhui Provincial Athletics and Swimming Sports Management Center as the provincial regulatory unit, and the Anhui Provincial Athletics Association providing technical support. The event will kick off at the Chuzhou Olympic Sports Center on November 16th. It features three events: the full marathon, the half marathon and the fun run, with a total of 15,000 participants, including 3,000 for the full marathon, 6,000 for the half marathon and 6,000 for the fun run. The registration channel for the event officially opened at 10:00 a.m. on September 8th and will close on October 15th. Among them, the registration for the half marathon and the fun Run events was fully booked within three days of opening, and the spots were also filled. Currently, only the marathon event still has a few spots available.

The Chuzhou Marathon has launched a three-year series of finisher MEDALS with the "Drunken Master Pavilion" as the core element. These MEDALS integrate elements of Langya Mountain, Drunken Master Pavilion and lake water. They can be disassembled and reassembled, enhancing their fun and collection value, and further highlighting the cultural symbol of Chuzhou as the "City of Pavilions".
The finisher's medal for the 2025 Chuzhou Marathon features the Drunken Master Pavilion as its core element and incorporates the landscape texture of Langya Mountain. The front presents the Drunken Master Pavilion, echoing the theme of "Drunken Beauty of Chuzhou". The three-dimensional design Outlines the contours of the pavilion, showcasing the architectural charm. The design of the race uniforms and race bags continues to adhere to the aesthetic style of simplicity and fashion, optimizing the fabric and craftsmanship quality to provide runners with a more comfortable race experience.
We have launched a highly creative "Po SAN Ting Hao" full marathon three-hour finish mascot. We have designed and made the "Chu Bao" mascot into a small and cute backpack pendant. When squeezed, it will emit the friendly voice "Ting Hao, Chu Ma, Ting Hao, Chuzhou", making Chu Bao truly "come alive".
This year's event has specially planned and organized the "Characteristic Formation" of Chuzhou.
