/PRZWT/Beijing, December 3, 2024 - The winners and winning works of the "15th Kao International Children's Environmental Painting Competition" launched by Kao Group for children from all over the world have been determined. This is the 15th edition of the competition, and we have collected a total of 16,639 works from 33 countries and regions around the world, setting a record. With the theme of "Let's create a sustainable environment together", the paintings of children from all over the world vividly and powerfully convey their thoughts and messages about the future with their rich and diverse expressions.
Since 2010, Kao has held this competition, which aims to allow children from all over the world to express their "thoughts on the earth's environment and future" through paintings. It is hoped that these paintings, which contain children's thoughts on the earth's environment and future, will move more people and become an opportunity for people to practice sustainable lifestyles. In addition, there will be related displays of winning works.
In this competition, Kao launched a donation campaign for the first time to support children's environmental protection aspirations. Children can choose from three themes (wildlife protection, green plant and forest protection, marine waste recycling and reuse) when submitting their submissions. The Kao Group donates 50 yen per work to international environmental welfare organizations. This year, Kao donated a total of 831,950 yen to international environmental welfare organizations.
