Nearly 4,000 competitors from all over the country participated in the competition, and the competition started at 9 am in the Chaya Mountain Scenic Area on time. This event is divided into three categories: 42km individual race, 21km individual race, and 4km mass fitness race to meet the needs of runners of different levels. The track was designed after many field inspections, crossing the core scenic area of Chaya Mountain, connecting many natural and cultural landscapes, combined with unique natural landforms, to provide runners with a safe, rich and challenging running experience.
After the race, many competitors said that the mountain horse track at the Chaya Mountain Station was not too difficult. There were several sections of the road that were very undulating uphill or downhill. The road under their feet was mostly gravel roads or rough sand, and it was not easy to go downhill. But the scenery of Chaya Mountain was enough to bring them enough psychological comfort and visual compensation. Starting from the exquisite "Central Plains bonsai", along the layers of mountains, continuous roads, and colorful flowers, they ran all the way into the large-scale landscape painting. "This feeling is so cool!" they exclaimed.
After intense competition, in the end, Yang Jianjian from Chongqing won the men's 42-kilometer individual race with a time of 3 hours, 10 minutes and 55 seconds. Qin Guidu from Guangxi and Zhang Jiao from Guizhou ranked second and third, with results of 3 hours, 11 minutes and 13 seconds and 3 hours, 26 minutes and 22 seconds respectively.
Xiong Binbin from Hubei won the women's 42-kilometer individual race with a time of 3 hours 59 minutes 46 seconds. Liang Yan from Guizhou and Yang Mengqi from Beijing were ranked second and third, with results of 4 hours 6 minutes 22 seconds and 4 hours 15 minutes 48 seconds respectively.
The men's 21-kilometer individual race was won by He Guanghui of Henan, with a time of 1 hour, 32 minutes and 18 seconds. The second and third place in this category were Dang Jiangtao and Xu Gaobo respectively.
The women's 21-kilometer individual race was won by Pan Yuanchen of Shandong, with a time of 1 hour, 44 minutes and 25 seconds. The second and third place in this category were Su Meiling and Zou Junfang respectively.
The total prize money of 100,000 yuan was set up in this event, and the 42km individual race was admitted respectively. The top 3 men's and women's groups in the 21km individual race were awarded trophies and bonuses, and 4-12 were awarded bonuses.
