Competition Finals and Awards Ceremony was grandly held at the JW Marriott Hotel
in Shanghai.
Since the launch of this competition on October 24, 2023, it has quickly received the enthusiastic attention of hundreds of college students across the country, and thousands of college students from various schools have actively responded to the registration. From the inspiration of the campus tour of 7 tutor groups in 6 cities, to the fierce competition of the preliminary selection, through the tempering of the innovation training camp, and finally ushered in the wonderful moment of the finals and award ceremony, this grand event that integrates creativity, enthusiasm and youth came to a smooth conclusion.
First, the on-site review of the finals
At 2:00 pm on January 21, seven dynamic participating teams took the stage one after another to start a fierce PK competition. The final proposition was "How to make Qingfeng Hello a popular tissue on campus", and each team spent 17 minutes to present their creative proposals. The organizing committee specially invited senior experts and industry elites from academia, industry, enterprises and other fields to serve as the final judges for the finals, and comment and score on the spot.
Soochow University's White Rice Racing Team, Peking University's Gyro Man Team, Communication University of China's Qiu Baite agent team, Xiamen University's special effects team upgrade, Suzhou City University's 555-25 team, and Shanghai Ocean University's Jinglan team followed. The representatives of various universities went all out to compete and showcase their carefully polished innovative works.
The interactive judging session was equally exciting. The judges gave serious marks and detailed comments according to the six evaluation dimensions of each participating team's proposal goal compliance, content innovation, communication execution, creative quality, marketing effectiveness, on-site proposal and interaction.
In the intense brainstorming and countermeasure agitation, the finals came to an end, and the results of each team will also be announced at the awards ceremony.
II. Review of the awards ceremony
1. Guest speeches
On the evening of January 21, the awards ceremony was filled with guests.
At the beginning of the event, two representatives of the organizers, Mr. Jia Lijun, Executive Chairperson of IECIA Global Promoter & ECI Awards, and Mr. Sun Shaorui, Co-Chairperson of ECI YOUNG AWARDS/Founder & CEO of Ailai, delivered speeches on stage. The two extended a warm welcome to the guests, expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the sponsoring companies that fully supported the development of the competition, the national universities that joined hands with the competition, professional and authoritative review tutor experts, and strategic partners from all walks of life, and fully affirmed the hard work of the contestants and instructors and their unremitting pursuit of digital marketing innovation.
Then, Mr. Chen Pei'ai, Honorary Chairperson of ECI @Education Innovation Expert Committee & Founding President of China Advertising Education Research Association & Professor of Xiamen University, took the stage to speak. Professor Chen expressed his high recognition of the significance of the competition, saying: "I believe this competition will become one of the most important platforms for college students in the digital innovation transformation, and raise the value of our professional education to a new level.
Afterwards, Mr. Yan Haifeng, Vice President of East China University of Science and Technology, expressed his ardent expectations for the younger generation of digital marketing talents, expecting that the ECI Young Awards will be able to create a better future for college students in the near future, and also contribute to the creation of a better future for China.
Mr. Wang Chen, General Manager of Digital Marketing of APP Tissue Paper Division, delivered a speech on behalf of the general sponsor of the competition. He said that this competition has created a stage for college students to display their creativity. As the general title of the competition, Qingfeng Hello successfully allowed college students to have in-depth interaction and dialogue with the Qingfeng Hello brand, and realized the co-creation of the brand and the new generation of creative thinking. He said: "Qingfeng Hello hopes to use the novel ideas and innovative ideas of college students to become the favorite choice of the younger generation of college students."
2. Contestant preliminary work display
Then, four winning teams took the stage to display their works. Team You and I under the Wisdom Tree from Huaqiao University, Team Digital Conqueror from Huazhong Agricultural University, Team Wao from Shanghai University, and Team Brain Open from Jinan University shared their exciting ideas and brought more new inspiration and thinking to the audience.
3. Student Consumption Insights White Paper Released
With the launch of the competition, the organizers, together with the School of Advertising of Communication University of China, launched a simultaneous research on college students' consumption insights. At the event, Professor Yang Xuerui, Director of the Advertising Department of Communication University of China, authoritatively released a white paper.
This research report, which focuses on college students' consumption insights, provides valuable data support and insights for the industry and academia, enhancing the academic depth, industry influence and industrial value of the competition, and promoting the sustainable development of the digital economy industry.
4. Awards Ceremony
During the awards ceremony of the dinner, the atmosphere reached its climax. The host and the presenters announced the winners of each award in turn and presented awards. Including the Preliminary Gold, Silver and Bronze Award, the Outstanding Industry Mentor Award, the Special Contribution Award, the Innovation College Organization Award, the final finalist award, and the final gold, silver and bronze award.
