At this year's International Consumer Electronics Show (CES), Lenovo unveiled more than 40 new devices and solutions based on artificial intelligence, acting as a key organizer and popularizer of China's AI PC AI ecosystem. At the press conference, Zhang Hua summarized the five necessary conditions and three development stages that a mature AI PC should have, clarified the architecture and deployment of embedded AI intelligence end points, and introduced the "integrated multi-terminal" AI strategic layout of Lenovo's consumer business.
Zhang Hua mentioned that a mature AI PC should have five necessary conditions: local hybrid AI computing power with standard CPU + GPU + NPU; embedded personal large model composed of local large model and personalized local knowledge base; equipped with localized personal data and privacy protection solutions; open AI application ecology; embedded personal agent, multi-modal natural language becomes the main interaction pattern. Lenovo believes that the development of AI PC is a continuous iterative process, which will go through three stages. The first stage is the AI Ready stage. The AI PC hardware platform at this stage has a certain hybrid AI computing power of CPU + GPU + NPU, which can support end-point manufacturers and third-party app developers to carry out end-point AI experience innovation. The performance of the product has also been further improved, and it does not yet have the complete characteristics of AI PC.
