Guangzhou, August 22, 2022 -- The 2022 Trusted AI Summit was held in Beijing on August 16, hosted by the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (hereinafter referred to as the "China ICT"), the National Engineering Research Center of Deep Learning Technology and Application, and the Key Laboratory of Artificial Intelligence Key Technologies and Application Evaluation of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. The conference released the first batch of trusted AI Practice Excellent Case list. Jiuchapter DataCanvas won the "Trusted AI Practice Excellent Case" Award with its causal learning algorithm toolkit YLearn, which provides one-stop processing for the complete process of causal learning. During the conference, Jian Yang, Vice President of Open source technology of Jiuzhang DataCanvas and director of D-Lab, was invited to attend the forum and delivered a wonderful speech titled "YLearn: Causal Learning, from Prediction to Decision". Yang Jian said that from the current challenges facing the development of artificial intelligence technology and industrial applications, causal learning can not only effectively make up for the shortcomings of machine learning, enhance the interpretability of AI algorithms, but also effectively solve the needs of users for intelligent decision-making. YLearn, an open-source algorithm toolkit developed by Yunji DataCanvas to deal with the complete process of causal learning, takes the lead in solving five key problems in causal learning: "causal discovery, causal quantity identification, causal effect evaluation, counterfactual inference and strategy learning". It can be widely used in user retention, intelligent marketing, flexible pricing, long-term returns, investment allocation and other scenarios, such as the function of representing causal relationship in data set, identifying causal effect, probability expression and various estimation models. YLearn effectively improves the autonomy, interpretability, adaptability and robustness of artificial intelligence technology, directly reduces the use cost of "decision makers" from the tool side, provides important support for "decision makers" to understand the logic of AI decision making and enhance the credibility of AI decision making, and becomes the AI key to open the door of "automated decision making" for governments and enterprises.

At the same time, the Engineering Promotion Committee of Key Laboratory for Evaluation of Key Technologies and Applications of Human Intelligence, together with Cloud Institute of China Information and Communication Academy, launched the Trusted AI Promotion Program (hereinafter referred to as "Wise Trust" program). Jiuzhang Yunji DataCanvas has been selected as one of the first batch of "Trusted AI Promotion Program" members through its years of research and standard setting with China ICT and many other enterprises in the AI industry ecology.
