On October 6, 2016, the first "Educating People to Retrace the Xuanzang Road" jointly sponsored by Junxue China and Xingzhi Exploration came to an end in Guazhou, Gansu Province. More than 100 educators from all over the country, including Baodao and Taiwan, successfully arrived at Guangxianyi Site after a 138-kilometer, 4-day Gobi hike, which brought the event to a successful conclusion.
It is reported that this "Educating People to Re-walk Xuanzang's Road" is the first Gobi hiking activity initiated by Junxue in China's education industry. Xuanzang's journey is the only way for Chinese business elites to explore the meaning of life and obtain spiritual totems. More than 1,300 years ago, Xuanzang, a Buddhist monk from the Tang Dynasty, travelled 50,000 miles in 19 years to reach the holy Land of Buddhism in search of Dharma. In the process of walking, Xuanzang experienced the dilemma of pursuing, deserting, getting lost, wandering, life and death, etc. He made a vow: "It is better to die in the west than to live in the east", and finally achieved a great legend that no one has ever seen before or since. Adhering to the spirit of Xuanzang and following the footsteps of the great master, Junxue China has led educators throughout the country to experience the meaning of life and explore the true meaning of education through wind and rain and adversity.
In this "Education people Retake the Xuanzang Road", Junxue China led more than 100 Junxue Academy students from various classes, members of the national alumni Association and educators from various fronts in a four-day trek, starting from the starting point of Ashoka Temple, through the scorching sun, the invasion of sand, drought. Walking through various complex landforms such as Gobi, Yadan, hills, salt-alkali land and river valleys, he practices Xuanzang's spirit of "ideal, action and persistence" with practical actions, and feels the life realm of "unity of heaven and man".
This trip also created a number of records in the 11 years since Xuan Zang's pilgrimage. First, it was the first time in history that more than 100 educators set foot on the Gobi in an orderly, organized and large-scale way. Secondly, on the third day of the Gobi walk, the last member of the team reached the finish line in 15 hours and 45 minutes, which is also the longest walking time in a single day of Xuanzang's Road activity, exceeding the limit of ordinary people. In addition, Andy, a 12-year-old student from Shanghai Jincai Middle School, completed the 138km hike as the youngest Gobi Adult group, which is the first child to complete the 138km hike record so far. On this road covered with thorns, they do not abandon, do not give up faith to the whole society to show the spirit of education.
After reaching the destination successfully, many educators burst into tears of joy and were filled with emotions. After going through many hardships, they finally broke the limit and surpassed themselves. Xu Hangsheng, principal of Junxue Academy Class 10 and Xi 'an Boshuo Education, said in his share: "Only in the most difficult time can you have the unforgettable experience!
