/PRZWT/LITANG, January 2, 2025 - On December 30, the 2024 Litang Cultural Tourism Promotion Conference was grandly held in Chengdu. The purpose of this promotion conference is to fully showcase the rich natural scenery and unique folk culture of Litang, a famous tourist county in Tianfu, and to promote the development and cooperation of cultural and tourism resources.
Bright and colorful traditional costumes, combined with characteristic musical instruments, vividly interpreted ancient legends and stories, and conveyed a strong Tibetan cultural atmosphere. A "Litang Tibetan Opera" opened the gorgeous curtain of the Poetry and Painting Litang Cultural Tourism Promotion Conference, allowing the guests present to appreciate the unique charm of Tibetan opera.
The promotion meeting also invited Wang Yanlin, the second-level inspector of the Sichuan Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, Bai Xi, the fourth-level researcher of the Ganzi Prefecture Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism Bureau, Ding Zhen, chairperson of the state-owned assets group company of Litang County, Qu Zhilai, deputy director of the Litang County Bureau of Culture and Broadcasting, and Luo Rong, general manager of Litang County Culture, Tourism and Sports Investment Development Co., Ltd., to attend the meeting.
The event site gave a detailed introduction to the natural scenery, human history and folk customs of Litang.
Litang County, located in the western part of Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province, in recent years, under the guidance of the Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, and with the high attention of the county party committee and county government, the fourth batch of Tianfu tourist counties have been successfully established, which are favored by tourists and have always enjoyed the reputation of "City in the Sky".
