/PRZWT/SHANGHAI,October 29,2024-The archery finals of the 4th Shanghai Civic Games officially kicked off recently at the Shanghai Gaodong Ecological Park.The event was jointly organized by the Shanghai Municipal Sports Bureau,the Shanghai Municipal Organs Working Committee of the Communist Party of China,the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission,the Shanghai Federation of Trade Unions,and the Shanghai Sports Federation.It was organized by the Shanghai Social Sports Management Center and Shanghai Aonai Sports Management Consulting Co.,Ltd.,and co-organized by the Shanghai Archery Association,the Shanghai Pudong New Area Sports Management Guidance Center,and the Shanghai Pudong New Area Gaodong Town Cultural Service Center.The event attracted nearly 600 archery enthusiasts from 8 delegations,14 schools,40 enterprises,institutions,and social clubs from various districts to participate,witnessing a contest of precision and skill.
The opening ceremony of the event was held in the rain on October 26,but the atmosphere was still warm.During the awards session,Ji Feng,deputy director of the Shanghai Social Sports Management Center(Shanghai Sports Competition Management Center),presented awards to the top three clubs in this year's club points competition.During the oath session,representatives of athletes and referees took the stage respectively,solemnly swearing that they would strictly abide by the rules of the competition.Their oaths were sonorous and powerful,demonstrating the competitive spirit of archery and respect for the competition.
Despite the continuous autumn rain,the enthusiasm of archery enthusiasts and professional athletes was not affected in the slightest.They came together to participate in this archery event.The competition lasted for 4 days,with a total of 36 categories competing in 5 events.In order to provide a perfect arena for archery enthusiasts,during the preparation of the event,the event organizing committee has carefully planned and arranged every detail of the event to ensure the smooth progress of the event.
The holding of this event not only provides a platform for archery enthusiasts to display and communicate,but also promotes the wider popularization and development of archery in Shanghai and even the whole country.It increases the public's awareness and participation in archery,provides citizens with a variety of fitness choices,and promotes the promotion of healthy lifestyles and the development of good sports consumption habits.The participation threshold of archery is relatively low,suitable for people of different ages and genders,so that the concept of national fitness can be practiced in a wider range of groups.We look forward to archery in the future to attract more citizens to participate and make greater contributions to the development of national fitness.
