/PRZWT/CHENGDU,October 23,2024-On October 20,2024,Chengdu Longquan Mountain City Forest Park was bustling with activity,and the 2024 China Tianfu Longquan Mountain Family Outdoor Challenge was grandly kicked off here.The event was co-sponsored by the General Administration of Sport of China Mountaineering Sports Management Center,the China Mountaineering Association,the Chengdu Municipal Sports Bureau,the Chengdu Longquan Mountain City Forest Park Management Committee,and the Chengdu Longquanyi District People's Government.
"An event,a family trip!"This event attracted more than 2,000 athletes from nearly 1,000 families from all over the country to sign up for the competition.The competition set up 3 routes of 7 kilometers,15 kilometers,and 20 kilometers,totaling 8 categories.In the competition,parents and children work together to complete obstacles and projects of different difficulty,cultivating children's courage to challenge the unknown and the spirit of perseverance,friendship and mutual assistance.After intense competition,the 7-kilometer fun group Xing Security/Xing Haozhe won the championship with a time of 0:56:39.279,the 15-kilometer adult group Yan Shipeng/Liu Xin won the championship with a time of 1:34:56.012,and the 20-kilometer men's group He Bo/Zhang Junjie won the championship with a time of 1:39:25.437.

The China Family Outdoor Challenge is a large-scale outdoor event established by the Mountaineering Management Center of the General Administration of Sport of China,targeting tens of millions of families in China,with the purpose of spreading the culture of mountaineering outdoor sports and sharing sports fun with their families.The purpose is to promote parent-child emotional exchanges,publicize and promote youth sports,explore mountain outdoor resources where the event is held,and drive more families to participate in outdoor sports.The rich event content of the China Family Outdoor Challenge is highly consistent with the concept of"traveling with the event"and"consuming with the event"put forward by the General Administration of Sports.During this event,a variety of supporting activities such as watching the sunrise in Longquan Mountain,studying activities in Longquan Mountain,outdoor fashion life experience,pre-competition training camp,and parent-child outdoor night were also arranged.
