Sponsored by Beijing Hausi International Sports Culture Co., LTD., the large-scale cycling tour "Riding Together to help Beijing Winter Olympics" was held in the morning of June 17th at the site of Beijing International Bicycle Expo. Nearly 1,000 cyclists from all over the country gathered together at the C4 Pavilion to share cycling stories, make friends and take photos.
The sharing session was hosted by Sun Jian, director of Beijing Iron Brush Club. The atmosphere was lively. The leader of the cycling team from Harbin International Convention and Exhibition Center told their story: As a cycling team with the largest number of middle-aged and elderly friends, they set out from Harbin on June 1st, and encountered heavy rain and flat tires all the way. Perhaps these difficulties are not much for young cyclists, but full of challenges for cyclists with an average age of 60. But the whole team united, followed the instructions of the leader, overcame the difficulties together, and finally rode to the capital.
The second participant was the representatives of Anyuan Green Volunteer Club in Jiangxi Province, who had traveled the longest distance in the event. Their total length of cycling was 2280 kilometers, and the three members cycled 250 kilometers on average every day. Although it was a long journey, the leader made an extremely detailed travel plan before setting out and successfully completed it, and finally rode in Beijing.
There are not only old people, but also children who have just finished the college entrance examination. Xiao Jiang, a bike rider from Jining Bicycle Association in Shandong Province, signed up to ride in Beijing with his father after finishing the college entrance examination. He rode for a total of 3 days, and rode 200 kilometers on average every day, wearing out his ass and riding in the rain. It's a physical and mental challenge, he laughs. 'It's much easier than cycling.'
The most exciting part of the sharing event was the awarding of the most popular club in Beijing. The winners were selected by online voting on the official wechat of Beijing International Bicycle Fair. The voting event attracted nearly 80,000 public votes, covering more than 100,000 people. After a week of voting, three clubs stood out, they are: the third place Hebei Jiuxian Cycling World Club, the second place Henan Kaifeng Trek Bullet Train Club, the first place Taiyuan Giant Youth Road Club.
Hebei Wine Fairy Club is a club keen on public welfare activities. They regularly gather club members to care for vulnerable groups, visit lonely elderly people, and spread the concept of environmental protection. Henan Kaifeng Trek Club is a young and energetic club. They are well equipped, the leaders are young and handsome, and the leaders are experienced. They have become a beautiful scenery of the expo site. Taiyuan Giant Youth Road Club is a club full of positive energy, just like their slogan: Happy cycling, happy cycling. Usually, they ride in the morning and night together. Many of the team members just returned from the Qiandao Lake riding without stopping to join the team gathered in Beijing. It is such perseverance and their unity that they won the first place of the most popular club.
At the end of the group photo session, the sharing session reached its climax. Riders rushed onto the stage, waving flags and Shouting the slogan: Ride together to help Beijing Olympics! Riding together to help Beijing Winter Olympics! Riding together to help Beijing Winter Olympics! At the sharing meeting, we not only gained the prize, but also gained the friendship, as the riding friends often say: the world riding friends is a family! Look forward to riding the city next year!
In just two years, the city has developed into a well-known brand in the domestic public riding tour, and has become a synonym for challenging oneself, challenging physical limits and enjoying success, attracting the participation of many knowledgeable white-collar workers aged between 20 and 40.
