This special edition Leica SOFORT 2 is inspired by the iconic "Jake Blue" color scheme, with the Burton logo engraved on the top cover and an exclusive design camera bag, injecting an uninhibited soul into the classic design. As a compact, modern instant imaging camera, the SOFORT 2 bridges the worlds of digital imaging and physical film, enabling instant printing of selected images, or turning photos taken on smartphones or other Leica devices into real objects in the palm of your hand through the Leica FOTOS app.

The Leica SOFORT 2 Burton Special Edition will be available in Leica stores, official online channels and authorized Leica dealers worldwide from February 11, 2025, with a suggested retail price of RMB 4,680 (including VAT).

In 2025, Leica Camera AG celebrates the centenary of the Leica I camera. In 1925, the Leica I made its debut at the Leipzig Spring Fair. With the theme "****: Witness of the Century", Leica Camera AG will celebrate this legendary camera that revolutionized the global photography scene with a series of international celebrations at Leica branches in major cities such as Dubai, UAE, Milan, Italy, New York, USA, Shanghai, China and Tokyo, Japan, presenting a rich cultural extravaganza and exceptional special edition products. The year-long celebration will culminate in the Centennial Week at Leica's headquarters in Wizler in June.
