/PRZWT/Shanghai,November 12,2024-On October 27,2024,the 8th International Panda Day is approaching.Anta Group and Shenzhen One Earth Nature Foundation(hereinafter referred to as"One Earth")joined hands with Anta Children to hold the 2024 International Panda Day series of activities in Shanghai,Hangzhou and Xiamen with the theme of"Walking with Nature,Meeting the Future".The purpose is to expand public advocacy through the series of activities of the four-city relay,and call on all sectors of society to take action.Like caring for the giant panda,pay attention to and support the protection of endangered wild species and their habitats,and work together to go to a better future where people and nature coexist in harmony.
In Shanghai,in addition to the popularity of the low-carbon City walk parent-child activity with Shanghai characteristics,Anta Group and One Earth joined hands with Anta Children.On the occasion of the 8th International Panda Day,seven well-known artists including Hu Yinping,Qin Weili,and Wang Jie were specially invited as creator representatives.A special art exhibition entitled"Walking with Nature,Meeting the Future"was held at the ANTAZERO 0 Carbon Mission Store on Wukang Road in Shanghai.The environmental protection art exhibition is dominated by a variety of art exhibits,including sculptures,wool,and oil paintings,which together convey the theme of green,low-carbon,and sustainable development.Anta Children hopes that through a series of beautiful and environmentally friendly artist works,more people will be called upon to participate in nature conservation and carbon reduction actions,and jointly contribute to supporting species diversity and nature conservation.
At the event,Duan Gengxin,an artist who has long been committed to environmental protection and a voice for"animal mothers",shared that she hopes to use the power of art to awaken more people's understanding of the harmonious coexistence of man and nature,and guide more people to pay attention to biodiversity protection and environmental protection.The environmental protection art exhibition will last until December 2.
Hosted by the World Wildlife Fund(WWF),the 1864 Giant Panda Tour Hangzhou Station was grandly kicked off at Intime in77 in the lakeside of Hangzhou,bringing the 2024 International Panda Day series to a climax.At the event site,under the leadership of the curator,guests and volunteer representatives created an art installation using recyclables in daily life,and jointly committed to practicing green,low-carbon,nature-friendly production and lifestyle to help achieve the goal of"2030 Nature for the Better".
At the same time,Anta Group and One Earth joined hands with Anta Children to launch the 2024 International Panda Day"Nature Goes Better"Hangzhou City Action in Hangzhou Taohua Lake Park,Tianmu Li and other places.
One Earth and Anta Children held the 2024 International Panda Day Science Exhibition with the theme of"Walking with Nature,Meeting the Future"at Chaoyang Hesheng and Beijing Huiju in Beijing.Most of the exhibits at the event were dressed in the blue of the ocean.Among them,the blue and white"Special Envoy of the Panda Planet"and the national-level protected animal"Sea Panda"spotted seal sculpture were the works of specially invited artist Qin Weili.In addition,16 kinds of rare animals were also depicted at the event site,and the exhibition will also last until December 2.
According to the"Living Planet 2024 Report"released by the World Wildlife Fund(WWF)on October 11,2024,the global wildlife population has plummeted by more than 70%in the past 50 years,and the critical point of danger for natural ecosystems is approaching.Although the changes in the earth's ecological problems seem minor,the gradual loss of biodiversity and habitat have become increasingly serious over time,almost to the point of irreversible.However,as long as all sectors of society work together,hope remains.
