On the morning of May 6, with the order of Zheng Wei, the party secretary and chairperson of Hangyang Oxygen Group, several large equipment sounded in unison, and the Hangyang Oxygen Hydrogen Energy Equipment Industrial Base Project in Hangzhou Qingshan Lake Science and Technology City officially started construction.
It is reported that the Hangyang Hydrogen Energy Equipment Industrial Base Project is the first liquid hydrogen key equipment manufacturing base in Zhejiang Province. After the project is completed, it mainly produces cryogenic liquid pumps and cryogenic valves suitable for the field of liquid hydrogen; it also sells hydrogen, liquid helium and other gas products, as well as hydrogen liquefaction expansion machines, liquid hydrogen tank cars, hydrogen compressors and other hydrogen energy equipment.
What kind of equipment does this base produce? In short, it is the key equipment for hydrogen "liquefaction".
"For gas to be easily transported, it must be compressed in volume." Qin Yan, director of the Hydrogen Industry Development Center of Hangyang Oxygen Group, gave an example. It turned out that 11 cubic meters of space could only store 1 kilogram of gas. After liquefaction technology, 1 cubic meter of space could store 70 kilograms of "gas".
According to China's "Hydrogen Industry Development Medium and Long-Term Plan (2021-2035) ", China's hydrogen energy industry will focus on key technologies and material research and development before 2025, break through bottlenecks and carry out demonstration applications; by 2030, a relatively complete hydrogen energy industry technology innovation system and clean energy hydrogen production supply chain will be formed, and the industrial layout will be reasonable and orderly. Renewable energy hydrogen production will be widely used, which will strongly support the achievement of peak carbon dioxide emissions targets. By 2035, a hydrogen energy industry system will be formed, and a multi-hydrogen energy application ecosystem will be constructed covering transportation, energy storage, industry, etc. The proportion of renewable energy hydrogen production in end point energy consumption will be significantly increased, which will play an important supporting role in the development of energy green transformation.
It is understood that Hangyang Group is the leader of the national large-scale hydrogen liquefaction process and the localization of key machinery, and is also one of the earliest companies engaged in hydrogen liquefaction research and development in China. It has established a hydrogen industry development center, and the layout of the hydrogen industry chain has spanned from the technical reserve stage to the market application stage. The self-sufficiency rate of key equipment such as low-temperature pumps and valves, liquid hydrogen storage tanks, diaphragm compressors, and liquid hydrogen compressors is over 90%. In operation of a 6,000 kg/day hydrogen refueling station, it has undertaken the construction of the "hydrogen-electrical integration" comprehensive energy island project with the largest daily hydrogen refueling capacity in China.
Huang Anting, deputy general manager of Hangyang Group, said that Hangyang will combine the development of the company with the national strategic layout, integrate key technologies and processes upstream and downstream of the hydrogen energy industry chain, integrate the concept of "double carbon", develop a circular economy, improve the level and capacity of intelligent manufacturing of hydrogen energy equipment, and gradually build a new business system for comprehensive energy utilization based on hydrogen energy, natural gas, CCUS, green petrochemical, green chemical, and biomass energy.
