/PRZWT/Gansu, May 8, 2024 - On May 3, the 9th Industrial and Commercial Avenue Gobi Expedition came to a successful conclusion in Guazhou, Gansu Province. Nearly 1,000 entrepreneurs from more than 30 institutions of world-renowned Chinese-language business schools gathered here. They set off from the starting point of Master Xuanzang's westward journey - Ashoka Temple, and after 4 days and 3 nights, they crossed the 122-kilometer ancient Silk Road to carry out a deep cultural experience about cultural inheritance, self-transcendence, and exploration of a larger pattern.

Yuan Yuan, chairperson of the organizing committee of Industrial and Commercial Avenue and managing director of Xiamen Ruixing Cultural Development Co., Ltd., said in her speech at the point of view that Industrial and Commercial Avenue provides the participating team members with a profound field of self-challenge and transcendence, helping them find and confirm their core values and beliefs in the rapidly changing business environment.
This year's competition brings together business founders, CEOs, presidents and other senior management students from Peking University Guanghua School of Management, China Europe International Business School, Cheung Kong Business School and other business schools. They set off from the birthplace of Master Xuanzang's westward journey to learn from, and trekked along the ancient Silk Road to the Gobi. Peking University Guanghua School of Management and Nanjing University also specially formed an all-female "Rose Team". They showed extraordinary perseverance and teamwork in the competition, which won wide praise and showed the extraordinary resilience of female leaders.

"The invisible power brought by going to the Gobi, believing, persevering, cooperating, and working hard, and pursuing such beliefs, is also full of surprises in work and life."
This year's event has created a gold, silver and bronze competition system with all employees attacking and defending. The participating teams seek cooperation and win-win results in the competition, and touching scenes of players from different institutions working together to cross the line and help each other abound. The fierce confrontation between Tsinghua University Shenzhen International Graduate School and Sun Yat-sen University on the track has promoted the event to a higher standard.
In addition, for the first time, this year's event will set the station at Leiyin Temple, where Xuanzang returned to the east, creating a precedent for the Gobi event. The 122-kilometer track is lined with ancient sites along the way. Participants start from Ashoka Temple and pass through historical sites such as Guangxianyi Station. Each stop can feel the thick historical and cultural accumulation. The medals inspired by the art of the Mogao Grottoes in Dunhuang show the ultimate pursuit of oriental aesthetics.
The event was hosted by Xiamen Ruixing Cultural Development Co., Ltd. As the spiritual journey of Chinese business operators and the second classroom of the integration of business school knowledge and knowledge, the Gobi Expedition of the Industrial and Commercial Avenue has attracted more than 30 well-known business schools and more than 5,000 people from the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore and other regions since its establishment in 2013.
