5G-A (the abbreviation of 5G-Advanced) is a key stage in the development of 5G to 6G. Compared with 5G, it has the characteristics of higher speed, larger connection, and lower latency. By introducing technologies such as synaesthesia integration, general computing intelligence integration, and space and heaven integration, while expanding the 5G capability boundary, it will revolutionize digital life and help industrial data intelligence upgrade, which is mainly reflected in six aspects. First, the speed is faster, and the peak rate can reach up to 10 times that of 5G. In Zhejiang, 5G-A synaesthesia is applied to patrol and law enforcement in Qiantang River waters. Through applications such as multi-target vessel trajectory sensing, real-time warning of electronic fences in prohibited areas, and vessel perception in low visibility environments, ships are guaranteed to sail safely at night, in heavy fog, rain and snow. In Guangdong, China Mobile joined hands with Fengyi to accurately identify drone position, speed and trajectory based on synaesthesia integration, innovate new low-altitude logistics services, and empower the efficiency of express delivery, medical material distribution and other scenarios. In Jiangsu, 5G-A passive IoT empowers Heilan Home stores to achieve intelligent positioning, display planning, interest analysis and other smart operations, creating a new benchmark for digital apparel retail management. In Hubei, China Mobile's 5G deterministic network industry solution for Midea factories significantly enhances end-to-end 5G network service capabilities, realizes wireless and stable cooperative operation of robots and AGVs (automatic guided vehicles), effectively reduces operation and maintenance costs and improves production efficiency.
