/PRZWT/SHANGHAI, December 19, 2024 - From December 11 to 12, the 2024 China 5G Development Conference was held in Shanghai. At the conference, the 5G Application Industry Phalanx awarded the "5G Inside Joint Innovation Laboratory" qualification to China Mobile's 5G Internet of Things Open Laboratory (hereinafter referred to as the "Laboratory"). The laboratory became one of the first seven 5G Inside public service platform laboratories in the country.
"5G Inside Joint Innovation Lab" is committed to building an industrial public service platform. By gathering a group of laboratories with deep industry influence, based on unified 5G Inside testing documents and laboratory brands, cross-industry and cross-laboratory testing results will be recognized, and the industrial ecology will spontaneously form a "network access" testing brand for the end point of the 5G industry. Build a 5G Inside industry end point directory and a 5G Inside solution directory.
The laboratory covers an area of 3,300 square meters and has qualifications such as CNAS accreditation, 5G application industry phalanx innovation center, industrial Internet industry alliance laboratory, and Chongqing key laboratory of industry and informatization. It has completed more than 120 test capacity construction in 9 major test areas such as reliability, electromagnetic compatibility, and software. The laboratory focuses on IoT application verification and incubation, 5G vertical industry test specification and standard formulation, and 5G industrial ecological scheme certification. At the same time, it cooperates with upstream and downstream enterprises to jointly promote the comprehensive implementation of 5G IoT industry applications and industrial innovation upgrades.
In terms of capacity building, the laboratory has improved the 5G end point and solution testing system, with more than 380 sets of professional instruments such as 5G consistency testing system, end-to-end test network, and dedicated test server; in terms of industry incubation, as the designated evaluation agency of the "Bloom Cup" 5G application solicitation competition, the laboratory supported more than 20 units to complete more than 230 5G project evaluations, of which more than 50 projects won awards; in terms of standard formulation, the laboratory participated in 2 5G white papers and 3 5G industry and group standards preparation work; in terms of industrial ecosystem construction, the laboratory jointly partnered to build 15 joint experiments
The company has supported more than 30 ecological partners to complete the certification testing of nearly 100 5G products, striving to become a highly influential laboratory in the field of 5G innovation.
In the future, the laboratory will use the new identity of "5G Inside Joint Innovation Laboratory" to fully enhance 5G testing service capabilities, provide 5G product testing and innovation incubation support for ecological partners, and promote the 5G industry ecosystem towards a more large-scale, intelligent and diversified direction....
