/PRCWT/Guangzhou, September 01, 2023——On August 29, the Zhengzhou International Cultural Exchange Center project, undertaken by the eighth Bureau of China Construction, successfully completed the 2150 tons of steel grid upgrading of the exhibition center after 4 hours, and the appearance of "Unimu Ruyi, Dragon and Phoenix Chengxiang, and harmony" has emerged.
The steel grid area of the exhibition center is about 10,000 square meters, and the steel structure is raised to a height of 13.35 meters through the overall construction of the project. The steel structure construction process is complicated and there are many connection points. The steel grid involves 24 kinds of 1471 welding balls, the number of rods reaches more than 6,000 pieces, the span is 81 meters, the need to complete the steel components on the ground to complete the splicing work, and then the hydraulic lifting computer will be lifted as a whole, while with BIM technology for its deepening modeling, accurate calculation of the lifting point and the number of hydraulic devices, strictly ensure the safety of the lifting process. With the smooth completion of the overall upgrading of the steel structure roof, the construction of the Zhengzhou International Cultural Exchange Center project officially entered the decoration stage, and made great strides toward the completion goal.
It is reported that the Zhengzhou International Cultural Exchange Center project is located in the north bank of Longhu, Zhengdong New District, Zhengzhou, Henan Province, covering an area of about 158 mu, with a total construction area of about 310,000 square meters, including conferences, exhibitions and hotels. The project plans to host high-level, international and summit level meetings in the first half of 2024, and will become a landmark building of Zhengzhou Zhongyuan Science and Technology City, which can meet the needs of holding high-level and comprehensive international summit meetings. After the completion of the project, it is of great significance to further improve the strategic position of Zhengdong New District, enrich and improve the service functions of Zhengzhou National Central City, and help Zhengzhou build a high-level conference and exhibition "gathering place".
