The Macallan Style City series is an exploration of different cultures in cities, recording the unique color and long history of each city, and infusing it into whiskey, reflecting its unique character and charm. The two whiskies are the Macallan Urban Series, New York and London.

· New York is created by Macallan whisky maker Polly Logan in collaboration with the Roca brothers, It reflects New York's status as a vibrant and forward-looking global city, but it also reflects the very essence of the city.
The latest in the Macallan Urban collection, this whisky is a blend of six European and American oak barrels aged in a blend of modern high-rise New York and its strong artistic heritage, bringing together the true essence of New York street food. The whisky's original, distinctive, wonderful Apple flavour echoes New York's nickname, the Big Apple, and is paired with the sweetness of classic American sweets, with hints of peanuts and chocolate. The busy streets are a reflection of the city's fast pace, and the citrus smell in the air, like the New York skyline, is refreshing. Polly Logan, a distiller of Macallan Whisky, added: "We really love New York's signature food -- candy, waffles, peanut crackers, chocolate, pecans. In exploring food, we also met a lot of bold, creative and diverse characters. We incorporated that as creative inspiration in a whisky that pays homage to all 'New Yorkers' and is just like them, ebullient and vibrant."
The world-famous Roca brothers have also created a special menu designed to take diners on a unique New York journey between their lips and teeth. Their creations include potato croissant donuts with secret sauce, waffles with chicken sauce and sugarcane gravy, and marinated and smoked New York steaks. Their classic dessert, the Big Apple, features caramelized apples filled with fresh applesauce and milk chocolate.Joan Roca said: "New York is a city full of attraction and creativity. The whisky comes in an eye-catching display case with a distinctive triangular design on the map of London. Inside the case is an ornately bound book documenting the story behind the making of the single malt whisky and colourful photography of London.
