In order to understand the status quo of bridge technology more accurately, to better control the causes of bridge-related diseases, and to carry out the social practice of bridge life prediction survey based on nondestructive testing technology smoothly. On July 20th, the practice group of "Bridge building people's Livelihood, Concrete Building Future" from Shandong University of Technology went to Dongying Shandong Highway and Bridge Testing Center Co., LTD., to have a macro understanding of the current status of bridge technology development in Shandong province. Liu, director of Shandong Highway and Bridge Testing Center Co., LTD., Liu Gaojian, leader of the practice group of "Bridge Building people's Livelihood, Concrete Building Future", School of Civil Engineering, Shandong University of Technology, and Zhai Borui, Chen Chengbao, Zhang Heng, Tian Jincang participated in this survey.
Based on the current social hot spots and bridge safety, this survey collected the bridge disease information in the past, preliminarily understood the problems related to bridge disease, and controlled the development status of nondestructive testing and bridge life prediction technology in Shandong Province as a whole, so as to constantly improve the bridge life prediction platform created by the social practice group.
First of all, Director Liu of Shandong Highway and Bridge Testing Center Co., Ltd. introduced the development direction and results of the company to the team members, and conveyed the company's policy, spirit, work requirements and standards to us. And told the team members to invest in the practice process with a scientific and rigorous attitude and a united sense of team, so as to have more harvest.
After the visit, Director Liu explained the analysis of Bridges in Shandong Province to the team members. Director Liu pointed out that through the integration of the data, the common disease types of road and bridge at the present stage are cracks, crash damage, spalling, erosion, steel corrosion and honeycomb, among which the crack problem is the most serious, the vast majority of Bridges lack of detection process, there is a "reconstruction of light maintenance" imbalance. Therefore, it is very important to conduct regular maintenance inspection on Bridges, and it is an inevitable trend of development to reduce the damage to Bridges in the inspection process.
In the introduction by Director Liu, the team members learned that with the continuous development and improvement of nondestructive testing technology, the nondestructive testing of Bridges has been realized at the present stage and the technology is increasingly mature, while the life prediction of Bridges is still in the process of exploration, which is also a direction of future development.
This survey enabled the practice group to control the development status of bridge nondestructive technology and life prediction in Shandong Province as a whole, which provided ideas for the practice group to carry out later, promoted the process of social practice of the team in the later period, and laid a solid foundation for the follow-up practice activities.
