Changde Wildlife World Children's Amusement Park is a multi-functional modern children's park integrating parent-child amusement, research and education, fitness and leisure. It covers an area of about 220 mu and has a total investment of about 380 million yuan. It will be built in three phases. Among them, the first phase of the project covers an area of about 58 mu and has an investment of nearly 50 million yuan. It was completed in January 2024 and passed the testing license of relevant departments; the second and third phases of the project cover an area of about 162 mu and plan to invest 330 million yuan. It is expected to be put into use on January 1, 2025.
The children's amusement park is designed and built by Guangdong Jinma Amusement joint stock company, a leading enterprise in China's amusement equipment manufacturing. It plans to introduce nearly 30 sets of amusement equipment, including wind and waves (torrent), customized catapult roller coasters, mining cars, U-shaped skateboards and other world-first equipment. Family parent-child amusement equipment and unpowered amusement equipment. At present, the first phase of the project has introduced 8 sets of family parent-child amusement equipment (dynamic cinema field adventure, carousel, frog jump, hurricane flying chair, automatic control aircraft, small trolley, rotating cup, bumper car) and unpowered amusement equipment, with more than ten interesting and diverse amusement projects.
In 2023, Changde Wildlife World invested 500 million yuan, completed the construction of 8 projects such as the first phase of the children's amusement park, Shaoshan residential buildings, and animal hospitals, completed the main projects of 5 projects such as the aquarium and Fujian Tulou, and started the construction of 6 projects such as the Ice and Snow World. Optimized 5 experiential projects such as the Royal Theater of the Big Circus, the Elephant Classroom, and the Parrot Theater. Added 11 projects such as the Small Animal Kindergarten and Archery. Changde Wildlife World special train was opened on Changsha Metro Lines 1 and 2, and was successfully rated as a national 4A-level tourist attraction. In 2023, Changde Wildlife World received 1.525 million tourists, with a total revenue of 304 million yuan, driving Hanshou to achieve a total tourism revenue of 7.14 billion yuan.
