In the 300 days countdown to the Winter Olympics, the teachers and students of Chenjinglon Middle School and Capital Institute of Physical Education are enthusiastically looking forward to the arrival of the Winter Olympics. The students of primary and secondary schools joined hands to wave flowers and flags and slide into the venue. The Jinfan Choir of Chenjinglun Middle School played the prelude to the presentation with "Sunshine of the Winter Olympics". The beautiful songs of the children reverberated in the ice pavilion; Forty primary and secondary school students formed the Olympic rings, reciting Coubertin's famous "Ode to Sport" to arouse people's love of sports; Five figure skaters from Chen Jinglun Middle School showed their graceful dancing and clever ice and snow skills to the beautiful music. The team of 24 skaters skated out "300, five rings" and other patterns on the ice rink. Their skillful ice sports skills won unanimous praise from the guests. The students from the School of Physical Education brought the performance of Ice Jubilee, which is an ancient Chinese ice and snow performance preserved in the painting scroll of the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Today, through the wonderful performance of the college students of the Capital Sports Institute, the painting scroll came to life. After the exhibition, the signing ceremony of "Big Hands, small Hands, Common Training of Ice and Snow Talents" between Capital Institute of Physical Education and Chenjinglun Middle School was successfully held. Leaders of both sides signed the cooperation agreement. In the future, they will cooperate in talent training, teacher training, activities and other aspects to jointly train young ice and snow talents.
At the beginning of 2015, Chenjinglun Middle School set up a hockey team covering 12 years of primary school, middle school and high school, attracting a large number of children who love ice and snow to participate in the winter sports activities, and won the third place in the primary school group of Beijing for the first time. After 7 years of promotion and popularization, the school now has 12 ice and snow clubs in 6 categories such as ice hockey, curling, speed skating, figure skating, queue skating and skiing, with more than 1,000 ice and snow lovers. In the past 7 years, Chen Jinglon Middle School has won the first place of the senior high school group and the third place of the junior high school group in the first Winter Sports Meeting of primary and Middle school students, won the 4 gold, 7 silver and 4 bronze MEDALS of speed skating in the Beijing Winter Sports Conference, and won the champion and the third place of curling. The ice hockey team has also represented Beijing at the National Sunshine Sports Conference and China at the China-Poland Friendly Exchange Ice Hockey Conference. In December 2020, Zhao Peizhe, a student, won the national championship in the Year of women's alpine skiing and was praised by the General Administration of Sport of the State. At present, Chenjinglun Middle School Education Group has 2 national youth ice and snow sports demonstration schools, 3 Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic Sports publicity demonstration schools, and 1 Chaoyang ice and snow cultivation school. Ice and snow sports are flourishing in the school. The school actively carries out ice and snow sports such as ice hockey and ice curling on land, and actively organizes students to experience ice in the ice rink and participate in the Bird's Nest ice and snow season. Every year, nearly 4,000 students of the group experience ice and snow activities, which arouses the enthusiasm among students to actively participate in ice and snow activities and add wonderful to the Winter Olympics.
Chenjinglun Middle School is one of the first demonstration schools in Beijing, one of the first ice and snow demonstration schools in Beijing, one of the national youth campus sports demonstration schools, one of the national youth campus basketball demonstration schools and one of the national youth campus football demonstration schools.
