On October 14, 2020, China Mobile Research Institute, China Mobile Jiangsu Branch, Chuangyuan Weizhi, Chuangli 'an Factory, Ruijie Network and other parties participated in the "smart Factory based on 5G wireless cloud Network" at the "Beijing International Communication Exhibition" held in Beijing National Convention Center, end-to-end business display. The cooperation project has realized the application of 5G wireless cloud network in Chuangli 'an Factory in Yancheng City, Jiangsu Province, formed the InnovFusion smart factory digital solution based on 5G wireless cloud network, improved the production efficiency of the factory production line, facilitated the new 5G infrastructure, and accelerated the digital transformation of the industrial field.

5G wireless cloud network is helping the digital revolution of smart factories
The cooperation project is carried out in a multi-phase way. The first phase of the project uses 5G wireless cloud network to provide low-cost and high-performance 5G network for factories, supplemented by innovative intelligent and simple diversion technology. Combined with the existing InnovFusion digital solution and XR digital twinning solution, the whole life cycle management access of the equipment in the smart Factory of Chuangli 'an is realized. It provides a complete set of closed-loop solutions for equipment maintenance and remote guidance of Chuangli 'an factory and has been successfully applied.
This project gives full play to the characteristics of 5G wireless cloud network, assists the existing digital solutions, seamlessly connects the production line equipment in Chuangli 'an factory, further links through design, procurement, warehousing, logistics and other links, makes the production more intelligent, flat and customized, and successfully creates a future-oriented intelligent manufacturing factory benchmarking case.
Intelligent simple diversion technology to help the industry data does not appear
In this pilot, 5G cloud base station equipment is used to support intelligent factories to realize the multiplexing of 5G room by access layer based on intelligent simple diversion technology. Traffic identification and scheduling distribution of access layer traffic based on service types are carried out. One network carries the data flow of the operator's public network service and the factory's Intranet service.
For the Intranet services of the factory, such as local sensitive data, Ruijie Smart simple shunt technology is based on IP quintuple, PLMN and slice for identification and feature matching processing, and realizes the closed loop of Intranet data through the base station branch forwarding. Carrier service data, such as voice service, is normally sent to the core network through the transmission network to realize the carrier public network service bearing.
The intelligent shandage technology realizes the integration of one network in the wireless access network of the room division. Users customize the traffic scheduling trend according to the scene, meeting the upstream traffic demand of 50Mbps for a single service, supporting the downstream AR service to connect to 4K high-definition video, and ping round-trip delay approaching 10ms without packet loss. The hardware meets the special requirements of the factory electroplating environment. Facilitate the integration of service information in factories, give full play to the access advantages of 5G new air ports, and efficiently undertake the information transmission of all types of service traffic.
Future outlook
In the future, we will introduce a wireless intelligent control platform to conduct further characteristic analysis of factory AR inspection, remote guidance and other businesses. By collecting real-time base station, user data and business experience data on the wireless side, we will carry out research and verification of QoE prediction machine learning algorithm for factory business, and design customized deterministic guarantee scheme for industrial business.
As the intelligent control brain of 5G, the wireless intelligent control platform can realize network industry collaboration based on upper-level business characteristics, meet the needs of the industry upward and network call downward, accelerate the maturity of DICT fusion technology, and enable 5G to truly integrate into all industries and serve the public.
5G cloud network base station
Indoor 5G cloud base station solution provides cloud-based network architecture support for base stations. Due to the adoption of a general processing platform, network functions can be deployed on a common platform with MEC, which mainly includes three subsystems:
CU(centralized unit), as the upper main control node, can realize centralized control of wireless network resources, cooperate with the wireless intelligent control platform to realize the optimal allocation of wireless resources by operators, and provide service quality assurance capabilities for industrial applications.
DU(distributed unit) is responsible for processing physical layer protocols and real-time services. It uses multi-core scheduling technology to achieve flexible frame structure support capabilities and provides customization of air interface communication capabilities for the industry market.
RU(antenna unit) is an active antenna, responsible for transmitting and receiving radio frequency signals.
The solution can flexibly support the service features of the live network: 5G cloud base station, divided into CU and DU, can be centralized deployment of CU and DU, can also realize the cloud deployment of CU, using virtualization, container arrangement and other technologies to simplify the network management process, improve operation and maintenance efficiency, reduce site power consumption, and reduce the overall network cost.
