After graduation in 2009, Alex Yang joined the King Group as an executive Officer. He assists his father, Dr. Yang Sucheng, in managing different businesses of the Group. At the same time, he actively performs various public duties and participates in charitable activities, contributing a lot to the economic and public welfare development of the Mainland and Hong Kong. Recently, he was appointed as one of the special invited members of the 13th Beijing Political Consultative Conference in Hong Kong and Macao.
Alex is involved in the management of the Group's finance, real estate, watches and jewelry, media, entertainment, hotels, furniture and interior decoration, and catering businesses. Repulse Bay, a famous tourist spot in Hong Kong, once lacked supporting facilities and catering and shopping facilities. To meet the needs of the district, Alex built the pulse, a beachside shopping mall that the Group entered there, into a fashionable leisure mecca. By introducing award-winning foreign brands, Alex successfully drove the flow of people and restored Repulse Bay to its former appearance, attracting an endless stream of local and foreign tourists. This is one of the projects Alex is most proud of.
In 2017, Alex worked on a number of breakthrough projects, the first of which was "King esports". Capitalizing on the Group's many years of experience in developing young people's creativity, he aims to help young people in the industry develop their career path and promote the economic potential of esports through multi-faceted programmes such as organizing esports competitions, team management and setting up professional colleges. Secondly, in view of the size of Hong Kong, where it is difficult for entrepreneurs to get started, Alex took advantage of the group's background in real estate and film, and led the group to engage in the business of shared working space and founded the brand "Mustard Seed". On the one hand, Mustard Seed expanded the group's existing real estate business and attracted talents in the creative industry, which also benefited the group's existing film business. Create a multi-win situation. Alex is also proud of the opening of the Group's first cinema in Hong Kong, the King's Theatre, at Landmark Entertainment in the Central District of Hong Kong CBD, and the upcoming venture capital fund project.
Alex has been a member of the All-China Youth Federation Committee, a member of the Beijing Youth Federation, and Vice Chairman of the Hong Kong Youth Federation for many years. He has vigorously promoted the development and integration of the youth in Hong Kong and the mainland. He was once a member of the 5th CPPCC Committee in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province. Alex is very honored to be entrusted with this important role again and will redouble his efforts in the future to give full play to his strengths and serve his country.
