Eat by the Chao Phraya River - Thailand is a tropical country near the sea, and taste is king. Ancient Thai courts are said to have had cooking schools where adult royal women learned how to arrange flowers and banana leaves, and how to carve watermelons into flowers. Thai traditional food has the best taste and variety in Asia. All kinds of green vegetables, seafood, fruit, fresh soup, curry, fried meat, desserts are filled with attractive fragrance. Bangkok, the capital, is a culinary paradise. After hundreds of years of history of brewing accumulation, both eastern and western fusion, formed a unique taste. Especially fish sauce, Chaotian pepper, curry sauce food seasoning, in Southeast Asia and even the world unique.

As the organizer of the Thailand exhibition group, the Commerce and Thailand Chamber of Commerce said that Thai food enterprises attach great importance to the Chinese market, and the Chinese market has huge potential. We hope that the exhibition can promote the understanding and cooperation among people engaged in the food industry in the region, strengthen the international cooperation and exchanges, and let the world know about the development of Thailand's food culture.

It is understood that in 2013, the total value of Thai food exports to China reached $1.66 billion to $1.74 billion, with a growth range of 17-23% and a median value of 19%. Thai food and businesses with growth potential in China include fruit, flavorings and Thai restaurants, while specialty products such as organic produce and halal food are also promising new markets.

Industry insiders say that the popularity of Thai food is due to its natural and handmade features as well as the popularity of fashion. An important supporting factor for the entry of Thai food into the Chinese market is Thai TV series, movies and tourism, which have boosted the market expansion and popularity of Thai food. In addition, although Chinese consumers are more price sensitive, there has been a recent trend of increasing concern about food safety and quality, leading to the beginning of the willingness to pay higher prices.
