The 2016 Business 20 Summit (B20) concluded in Hangzhou, China, Sept 4, 2016. At the B20 Summit, the 2016 B20 Policy Recommendations Report, which gathers the wisdom of the global business community, has been submitted to the G20 Hangzhou Summit, putting forward 20 policy recommendations for the G20 summit.
The main venue of B20 Summit is located in Hangzhou International Conference Center, located in Jianggan District of Hangzhou, which is a landmark building integrating a large conference center and a super five-star hotel. Hangzhou International Conference Center adopts steel structure construction, the building height of 85 meters, the main body is composed of 13 meters high oval podium and 85 meters diameter sphere, and Hangzhou Grand Theater constitute the scene of "the sun and the moon".
Hitachi provides 17 sets of escalator equipment for Hangzhou International Convention Center, including large imported non-machine room sightseeing elevator with load capacity of more than 1000KG, and small imported machine room sightseeing elevator equipped with learning function of FI-340G group control management system, which can fully meet the needs of comprehensive international convention center.
The G20 summit officially opened on the same day that the B20 summit closed. The Hangzhou International Expo Center, located in Qianjiang Century City, Xiaoshan District, Hangzhou, is the main venue for the G20 Summit. The Expo center is a large-scale expo center integrating gathering and exhibition, conference, business, leisure and entertainment, with a planned construction area of 840,000 square meters, 7,500 international standard booths and 28 comprehensive conference rooms, which can meet the requirements of G20, APEC, Davos and other high-level international conferences.
Hitachi has provided 50 sets of escalator products for Hangzhou International Expo Center, providing intimate and convenient vertical transportation services for guests. In addition, Hitachi also provided more than 800 escalator services for more than 50 catering, hotel, tourism and other projects involved in the B20 and G20 summits, to ensure the smooth operation of the conference.
