Herzogen, Germany, July 1, 2016 -- PUMA is once again expanding its acclaimed IGNITE running shoe line with the launch of a new IGNITE Dual running shoe that combines power with great design.
New IGNITE Dual running shoes
Designed for medium to long distance runners, the IGNITE Dual offers extreme flexibility and excellent shock absorption. The sole uses PUMA's exclusive IGNITE FOAM material to provide full-coverage energy feedback from the foam midsole visible at the heel to the hidden front foot. The articulated V-shaped groove compresses and bounces back instantly upon landing. Molded EVA insoles fit comfortably into the feet for a relaxing running experience. PUMA has modified the outsole to mimic a runner's natural gait. A guide groove extending from the heel allows the runner's weight to be evenly distributed as he transitions from the back to the front. Deep recessed grooves in the front foot allow for more flexibility, while carbon rubber in the back heel improves durability.
The 'Dual' feature extends to the upper, where IGNITE Dual's premium stretchy mesh fabric fits snug for both breathability and flexibility. The color-changing mesh and reflective inserts add dimension to the outline and improve the running shoes' visibility in dim light. The stunning upper pattern creates a unique modern and youthful feel for the IGNITE Dual, which matches the excitement of the Olympics ahead. The IGNITE Dual Disc and IGNITE Dual evoKnit are also available in two different versions -- with the same internal structure but a different upper design. The IGNITE Dual Disc features PUMA's unique innovative laceless Disc closure system for easy, quick comfort simply by rotating the Disc disc. The upper is made up of comfortable foam, which can be extended according to the foot, and mesh cloth, which provides good air permeability and three-dimensional feeling. evoKnit Dual shoes feature woven upper for a soft fit, breathable and flexible finish.
IGNITE Dual's dual colors and patterns are also reflected on PUMA's matching Fall/Winter 2016 running wear collection. The latest collection is a combination of power and design, complete with innovative dryCELL technology -- a material that absorbs sweat from the skin, ensuring the wearer stays dry and comfortable during exercise.
