On May 31, Hitachi Elevator held the unveiling ceremony of "Academia Sinica Hitachi Elevator (China) Co., LTD." in Guangzhou Dashi Manufacturing Base. Guangzhou Municipal Commission of Industry and Information Technology and relevant leaders of Hitachi Elevator attended the event.
In order to expand the scale and strengthen the strength of large backbone enterprises and encourage them to speed up the transformation and upgrading, Guangdong Provincial Economic and Information Commission organized the application of 2016 provincial support for the innovation and development of large backbone enterprises. In April 2016, Hitachi Elevator (China) Co., Ltd. was established by Academia Sinica and approved by Guangdong Provincial Economic and Information Commission and Guangdong Provincial Department of Finance.
With Asia R&D Center as the main body, Hitachi Elevator Central Research Institute, together with Shanghai R&D Center, Ribin Technology R&D Center, electric motor R&D center and Escalator R&D Center, forms an innovation R&D network system, which will achieve efficient integration of internal innovation resources of the enterprise and a high degree of agglomeration of industrial innovation resources.
