The official website schedule and booth information of Yunqi Conference show that on September 26th, Zebra Smart Mobility will officially release Auto Omni in collaboration with Alibaba Cloud and Qualcomm. This solution is the first in the industry to adopt an end-to-end technical architecture, based on Alibaba Cloud's Qwen Omni and Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8397 chip platform. With three major features: active intelligence, availability after disconnection from the Internet, and worry-free privacy, it will bring about a generational improvement and transformation in product experience.
Zebra Smart Mobility is the first company to adopt a solution on both the cloud side and the edge side, with exclusive cooperation on the edge side, to create a dedicated intelligent cockpit scenario for automobiles. The Snapdragon 8397 platform is Qualcomm's fifth-generation intelligent cockpit chip, with its computing power significantly enhanced to 320 TOPS. It has become the preferred choice for high-end smart cars and is also one of the best platforms for large models on the edge to be installed in vehicles.
The year 2025 is hailed by the industry as the first year for terminal models to be installed on vehicles. With the significant increase in computing power of mainstream cockpit SoC chips, 7B parametry-scale multimodal large models can run smoothly on the edge side.
