According to Zhengli Xinneng, the large cylindrical battery cell is the result of the company's innovation based on materials, structure, design and process equipment, and through three innovative forms of "polar energy ring, polar energy cover and polar energy state".

Polar energy loop technology: The positive and negative electrodes of the traditional 4680 cylindrical battery core are designed with different sides, the electronic transmission path is too long, and the internal resistance is too large. Zhengli Xinneng's original technology of the same-side outlet ear greatly shortens the electronic transmission path and reduces the ohmic resistance. It is reported that in order to realize the structure of the same-side outlet ear, Zhengli Xinneng has developed a closed-loop cylindrical manufacturing equipment with integrated laser die-cutting and winding, which solves the technological problems of the same-side outlet ear and realizes a comprehensive upgrade of the product. Compared with the stepless ear technology, the electronic path of the large cylindrical battery cell of the polar energy ring technology is shortened by 80%, the ohmic impedance is reduced by 30%, and the volume utilization rate is increased by 3%.

Extreme cover technology: Zhengli Xinneng upgrades the traditional fluororubber sealing ring design to etching nano-injection molding technology, which can reduce the cost by 10% compared to the traditional top cover integration technology; PPS forms a nano-scale anchor structure and chemical bond on the surface of the top cover and pole, and the helium gas tightness is improved by two orders of magnitude, which is 100 times the level of the traditional sealing ring, thus improving the space utilization rate of the battery cell and the reliability of the whole life cycle.

Extreme energy technology: namely dual semi-solid cell technology: solid electrolyte surface modification technology for ultra-high nickel cathode materials, solid electrolyte composite diaphragm. Thanks to the blessing of dual semi-solid technology, the thermal stability of large cylindrical cells has been significantly improved, the failure initiation temperature has been increased by 10 degrees, and the maximum temperature after failure has been reduced by 150 ° C.
