/PRZWT/Xiamen, April 06, 2024 - During the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, China has entered a new stage of high-quality development, and road traffic factors such as people, vehicles, and roads continue to grow rapidly. According to the Ministry of Public Security, the number of motor vehicles in the country will reach 435 million in 2023, and the number of motor vehicle drivers will reach 523 million. China's road traffic safety work will face many new situations, new tasks, and new challenges. In order to effectively improve the ability of modern traffic management and the overall safety level of road traffic, the 2024 China Road Traffic Safety Innovation and Cooperation Conference (hereinafter referred to as the "Innovation and Cooperation Conference"), co-sponsored by the Road Traffic Safety Research Center of the Ministry of Public Security and the China Road Traffic Safety Association, will be held on April 9 at the Xiamen International Convention and Exhibition Center in Fujian.
The theme of this innovation and cooperation conference is "Smart Harmony, One Heron and Peace", which aims to discuss the application practice and development direction of digitization, informatization and intelligence in promoting the modernization of public security traffic control work, share the latest scientific research results and innovative measures, help improve the work level of public security traffic control "reduction and control", and promote the creation of a new pattern of road traffic safety governance that is jointly built, co-governed and shared.
Representatives from the World Health Organization, traffic management departments, scientific research institutions, universities, and related enterprises came together to interpret cutting-edge policies, share the latest technologies, exchange industry experience, and jointly explore the new future of smart traffic management.
The sub-forum of the Innovation and Cooperation Conference will be held on April 10-11. The sub-forum will focus on the development needs of the industry, share the development and application of information science and technology such as big data, artificial intelligence, and blockchain in the field of smart traffic safety, as well as innovative practices in public security traffic management. Jointly explore new trends in the development of the industry.
