For the underground parking lot, one of the key points of the key scene, Shanghai Mobile actively made efforts and precisely implemented policies to carry out the "Lighting Action", taking the lead in deploying new multi-point digital room sub-base stations in the Taikoo Li underground parking lot in Qiantan, and completed the construction of the first smart parking lot network in the country.
The new parking lot network not only supports car owners to enjoy high definition audio and video or immersive online games, but also empowers emerging in-vehicle applications such as parking and driving, sentinel mode, etc., which will greatly facilitate the daily life of citizens. Parking and driving applications can realize one-click autonomous parking and recall. During the parking process, car owners only need to pay attention to real-time video to ensure vehicle safety, and do not need to drive to find parking spaces in person; after the vehicle is parked, the sentinel mode intervenes. Once the vehicle is detected, when abnormal behaviors such as vehicle scratches and window damage are detected, the car owner will not only receive SMS and app push notifications, but also can view four real-time video returns at any time, and the vehicle condition is under control.
The changes in business requirements have put forward higher requirements for the underground parking lot network. Shanghai Mobile has partnered with Huawei to carry out the pilot application of the new digital room solution, selecting the head end according to the type and characteristics of the parking lot, rational planning, and flexible networking to achieve continuous and accurate coverage of the 5G-A network. The traditional parking lot network can only support basic network services such as in-vehicle audio and video entertainment, while the 5G-A parking lot can provide more than 500Mbps of upstream capacity, which can meet the needs of hundreds of cars to use the parking and driving function at the same time. Even during peak business hours, it can also provide consumers with an excellent driving experience; the 5G-A network can also achieve a downlink super gigabit rate, and the vehicle OTA version upgrade can be completed within 30 seconds at the soonest.
At the same time, 5G-A's new digital room branch base station can achieve meter-level positioning through software upgrades, solving the pain points that users take a long time to find parking spaces in public parking lots and people looking for cars, and saving users' parking time. 5G-A smart parking lot supports automatic call parking and indoor positioning, which can help consumers save more than 30 minutes of parking and pickup time. In addition, the digital room branch network can support more economical 5G RedCap end point access, and promote the widespread deployment of 5G in intelligent networked vehicles by reducing 5G access costs.
