The above applications have been gradually implemented in schools across the country, further helping schools reduce burdens and increase efficiency and improve teaching quality. Zhao Yingming, dean of Jingshiwo Education Digitalization Research Institute and executive director of the Education and Teaching Innovation Professional Committee of China Education Development Strategy Society, believes that with the evolution of technology, its application and promotion role in education are also changing. The development of educational technology is roughly divided into three stages: First, the Internet technology stage, the key contribution of this stage is to promote the sharing of educational resources and the equality of educational opportunities. Second, the primary AI stage. With the development of artificial intelligence technology, the education field has begun to try to use AI for personalized teaching, intelligent evaluation, etc. Third, the OpenAI stage, especially the application of generative artificial intelligence, has brought new possibilities and challenges to education, which has also triggered extensive discussions on the role of AI in education and potential replacement effects.

The digitization of education aims to integrate social resources and jointly promote the development of education.
