/PRCWT/Xiamen, January 4, 2024 - Recently, Wanwei Logistics Xiamen Haicang Cold Chain Park (Xiamen Wanwei Haitou Cold Chain Logistics Co., Ltd.) has successfully obtained the BRCGS S & D (Storage and Distribution, Global Storage and Distribution Standard) certificate and obtained the A-level certification, which means that the food safety management level of the park has reached a new level.
The BRCGS standard originated from the British Retail Association. As an internationally recognized standard, it has a wide range of applicability and best practice worldwide. It has always been an international wind vane for food safety management. It is one of the leading Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) certification programs and is widely recognized by major industry associations, brands and retailers around the world.
Since its official opening in March 2017, Wanwei Xiamen Haicang Cold Chain Park has provided full-process cold chain logistics system management and regional imported frozen food logistics distribution services. The park has successively obtained the qualifications of "designated warehouse for imported fruits" and "designated warehouse for imported aquatic products", providing high-end and professional cold chain logistics services for domestic and foreign customers. The park serves more than 80 international large and medium-sized enterprises, and vigorously promotes the improvement of the import and export customs clearance and inspection service level of various cold chain commodities at Xiamen Haicang Port, especially meat, aquatic products, fruits and vegetables, dairy products, juice beverages, etc. The certification of Xiamen Haicang Park through BRCGS S & D global storage and distribution standards means that it has obtained a quality pass to enter the international market. Previously, Wanwei Logistics Shanghai Seaport and Langfang Economic Development Park have passed BRCGS S & D certification and obtained high-level AA-level certification, making Wanwei Logistics the first third-party cold chain logistics company in China to obtain BRCGS S & D AA-level certification.
