It has overcome the technical bottleneck of low specific energy and short driving range of traditional batteries, filled the domestic gap, and effectively solved the dependence on foreign products. The lead carbon battery project adheres to the concept of green ecological design, integrates R&D, production, sales and recycling into the whole life cycle management, forms a green closed loop, and improves the comprehensive utilization efficiency of resources. The project has obtained more than 28 patents of various kinds. The products are widely used in energy storage power stations, new energy hybrid electric vehicles and other fields, with obvious energy-saving effect. It is a vivid practice of China's private manufacturing industry to seize the commanding heights of international technology, laying a solid foundation for the construction of low-carbon and green energy system, and also providing effective support for the construction of ecological civilization and the new pattern of "double cycle" development. In 2020, Teneng's industrialization demonstration project of high-performance lead-carbon batteries won the China Industry Award.
