/ Chaowen News/August 04, 2022, Guangzhou -- Jiuzhang Yunji DataCanvas is here with the industry's first "Causal Inference Process" Challenge!

The World Artificial Intelligence Conference 2022 (WAIC) will be held in Shanghai, China from September 1 to 3.

Competition award is one of the four sections of WAIC "meeting, exhibition, competition and use", which is hosted by the Organizing Committee Office of the World Artificial Intelligence Conference. Existing brand events in WAIC 2022 include: Hackathon, AIWIN World AI Innovation Competition, BPAA Global Algorithm Best Practice Competition and Youth League AI Innovation Competition. According to the SAIL Award recommendation rules and eligibility requirements, the event organizer will have the opportunity to recommend outstanding projects from this event to participate in the SAIL Award.

With the theme of "Amazing AI developers", the course of "WAIC 2022 · Hackathon", a hackathon event during WAIC, has been fully opened! The Hackathon contest was organized by the Organizing Committee Office of the World Artificial Intelligence Conference and organized by the Heart of Machine, Shanghai AI Industry Association, Jiuzhang Yunji DataCanvas, Tianchi and other organizations. The competition will set up a number of racetracks and invite a number of leading enterprises in the industry to set up nearly one million cash prizes based on actual business propositions, aiming to focus on the forefront of the industry hot spots, explore the peak of AI technology, and provide a platform for developers from all over the world to compete! The outstanding contestants will not only have the chance to win big prize money, but also be invited to attend the WAIC award ceremony.

In August, "WAIC 2022 · Hackathon" came to a climax, and Jiuzhang Yunji DataCanvas presented the industry's first "Full Process of Causation" Challenge!

< p> Judea Pearl, winner of the Turing Award, has stated that "Without the ability to reason about cause and effect, the development of AI is fundamentally limited". After nearly ten years of rapid development, machine learning has made a lot of progress, but there are still "defects" in the key aspects of interpretability, generalization, robustness and so on. Causal learning is a very potential technical breakthrough, which has attracted wide attention in the industry in recent years.

Hackathon "Causal Learning and Decision Optimization Challenge" is presented by nine chapters of DataCanvas. It presents the universality problem in causal learning. With the theme of "How to optimize intervention plan to maximize causal effect", it examines the estimation ability of players using causal inference on decision making problems. As the industry's first "full process of causation" event, developers are invited to explore the boundaries of technical capabilities!
