The arrival of AC7840x will comprehensively improve the safety of automotive electronic parts and expand the application of domestic MCU in the field of automotive electronics. It is another important milestone in the development of Jefa technology and another breakthrough for Jefa Technology to realize "China core".
Currently,AC7840x is undergoing intensive and orderly verification work, with the official mass production expected by the end of 2022.
AC7840x is an ARM® Cortex-M4F based MCU, compliant with ISO26262 functional safety ASIL-B, AUTOSAR V4.3 support, MCAL and configuration tools; Support for SHE, support for communication encryption and secure startup, and has larger Flash and more pins.
In the field of automotive chips, passing the AEC-Q reliability test standard for automotive electronic components is a key step to enter this field. However, with the development of the "new Four modernizations", the integration and complexity of automotive electronic and electrical systems are becoming higher and higher. Passing the strict functional safety standard ISO 26262 certification has become the access rule of "getting on the car".
In 2020, Jefa Technology has made a perfect deployment for the next generation of functional security MCU in advance, in accordance with the ISO 26262:2018 standard requirements, established a perfect product development process system in line with the highest level of automotive functional safety, and established an experienced functional safety certification team.
