/ Asahi/Guangzhou, March 02, 2022 -- Nowadays, the standard parts of new cars are becoming more and more intelligent, and the large screen in the center has become an essential part of new cars, and consumers' demand for the large screen is also increasing. So, what kind of central control screen is the key to our purchase? The key is in the chip. Just like when we choose a smartphone, the chip is always the first thing we consider when choosing a product. Let's take a look at the current market in the control of large screen chip which performance is stronger.
1. Samsung Exynos Auto V9
Samsung Exynos Auto V9 is an SOC chip designed for advanced infotainment systems that allows content to be displayed on multiple screens for a safer, more enjoyable experience.
In terms of hardware, the Samsung Exynos Auto V9 uses an 8nm process and has eight ARM Cortex-A76 cpus at a maximum 2.1GHz. Integrated ARM Mali G76 GPU, advanced HiFi 4 digital audio processing chip and separate NPU processing unit. In addition, the SoC is integrated with a separate security chip that supports the automotive safety integrity level ASIL-B.
Integrated with three Mali G76 Gpus, the Samsung Exynos Auto V9 supports up to six displays and 12 camera connections to seamlessly process multiple system information. Samsung's Exynos Auto V9 will reportedly be used in Audi vehicles.
2. Ruixin Micro RK3568M
Ruixin Micro RK3568M is suitable for ADAS+ central control host integration products. In terms of hardware, Rui Xin Micro RK3568M adopts 22nm manufacturing process, integrates 4-core ARM architecture A55 processor and Mali G52 2EE graphics processor, with built-in independent self-developed 1.0Tops NPU, supports FP16/BFP16, can easily transplant 360 degree round view algorithm, DMS algorithm, BSD algorithm, etc., supports 1 channel 4K 60fps or 8 channel 1080P 30fps multi-format decoding and up to 1080P 100fps H.265 encoding.
In terms of interface, Ruixin Micro RK3568M has dual gigabit GMAC, three-way CAN, USB3.0/SATA3.0/PCIE3.0 and other rich interfaces, bringing more scalability.
3. Telechips TCC8931
Telechips TCC8931 is a cost-effective SOC chip that uses a dual-core ARM Cortex-A9 processor and ARM Cortex-M3 coprocessor and supports BT4.0 and A2DP, HFP, AVRCP, PBAP, and P2P protocols.
Telechips The TCC8931 supports next-generation GNSS navigation and can simultaneously support five satellite systems, GPS, GLONASS, QZSS, SBAS and Beidou. It can calculate position based on measurements from any of the 88 satellites and allows the interuse of signals from any of the satellite systems, ensuring higher accuracy in urban and severe environments.
Write at the end
With the development of science and technology, the intelligent degree of the car will be higher and higher, and the dependence of the center control screen on the chip will be stronger and stronger. A high-performance chip basically determines the upper limit of this screen, so we must pay special attention to this point when we buy.
