Since the launch of "Discover Future Design China Tour", the discussion on future design has been carried out in Beijing, Nanjing and Jinan and swept the design circles all over the country. Through the exchange and interaction of top design ideas, the collision of new ideas on future design has opened a more cutting-edge and changeable vision for China's new designers. Funded by Huanai Home Furnishing and jointly established by China Building Decoration Association, Hebei Tongxin Public Welfare Foundation and Residential Decoration and some Industries Branch of China Building Decoration Association, Huanai Design Fund aims to seek for cutting-edge design forces, build a quality communication platform, study the development trend of design, help the growth of design talents, and make efforts to promote a better living life.
The Chengdu Station of "Discover Future Design" of Huanai Design Foundation started on November 19, 2019 to witness the growth and transformation of local cutting-edge designers. This activity has the honor to interview Zhao Ji, a well-known local designer in Chengdu, and ask him to share his design experience and experience.

Vanai Design Fund: What made you want to be a designer? What is the significance of this career to you?
Zhao Ji: I decorated a house in 2000. At that time, resources were scarce and there were no designers with such rich resources and high professional degree as now. When I was in school, I didn't have this major, so this experience made me realize that this major is a meaningful and rewarding thing, so I went to design.
Wanai Design Fund: Using your own experience as an example, talk about your opinion on the current growth environment for Chinese home designers.
Zhao Ji: At present, home designers should be the happiest, compared with our area, their resources, including the information they have, logistics and so on, are the best. At that time, furniture was handmade on site, and now information logistics can provide better resources, and they also have better media and resource sharing. In the future, designers may have a bigger space in the network. The 5g era has been opened, and convenient information will provide great help for designers.
Wanai Design Fund: Designers are considered to represent the group of fashion trends, so what direction do you think the trend of home design will take in the future?
Zhao Ji: The future is a digital era, unlike the old inflexible, 5G will bring great changes to our life, so in a lot of information, communication and smart home will have a great change, smart home configuration may be more common. At the same time, our design style may develop in the direction of individuation. With the development of economy and the progress of science and technology, our ideas and innovations will be more easily realized.
Huanai Design Fund: The original intention of the Huanai Design Fund is to help more young designers grow up. As a designer, what are your expectations and expectations for this fund?
Zhao Ji: Huannai Design Foundation has always paid attention to the growth of designers. There are many young designers who have the ability and dream. They need such opportunities to show themselves out of the small design circle and go to the whole country.
