Since the launch of "Discover Future Design China Tour", the discussion on future design has been carried out in Beijing, Nanjing and Jinan and swept the design circles all over the country. Through the exchange and interaction of top design ideas, the collision of new ideas on future design has opened a more cutting-edge and changeable vision for China's new designers. Funded by Huanai Home Furnishing and jointly established by China Building Decoration Association, Hebei Tongxin Public Welfare Foundation and Residential Decoration and some Industries Branch of China Building Decoration Association, Huanai Design Fund aims to seek for cutting-edge design forces, build a quality communication platform, study the development trend of design, help the growth of designers, and make efforts to promote a better living life.
The Chengdu Station of "Discover Future Design" of Huanai Design Foundation started on November 19, 2019 to witness the growth and transformation of local cutting-edge designers. This activity has the honor to interview Peng Zhaoxiong, a well-known local designer in Chengdu, and ask him to share his design experience and knowledge.

Vanai Design Fund: What made you want to be a designer? What is the significance of this career to you?
Peng Zhaoxiong: I started to contact with design when I was studying, and I found myself very interested in color matching and layout. Then I chose design as my major, so it was natural for me to do home decoration design after graduation. I think this profession is very good, because I can make good works by combining my inspiration.
Wanai Design Fund: Using your own experience as an example, talk about your opinion on the current growth environment for Chinese home designers.
Peng Zhaoxiong: Of course, Beijing is occupied by leading designers. Shanghai is relatively international. Many foreign designers, such as Swiss designers, Italian designers and French designers, are active and occupy most of the Shanghai market. Of course, Chengdu designers are also excellent.
Wanai Design Fund: Designers are considered to represent the group of fashion trends, so what direction do you think the trend of home design will take in the future?
Peng Zhaoxiong: The future trend of home design is definitely simpler and simpler. The first two years of cooperation of customers, basically are the pursuit of European style, now Chengdu customers, especially high-end customers, more tend to simple style, aesthetic has changed a lot, customers and designers and the external environment constant contact, aesthetic is also improving, the pursuit of simple, complex flower, phoenix carving and ancient Roman style times have passed. Of course, my home decoration design style also tends to be simple, I also pursue Nordic, light luxury and other minimalist and clean style. In recent years, customers have increasingly high requirements for the quality of life, electric curtains, intelligent products, these are standard, the future design will also tend to be intelligent. Previous customers have high requirements for TV, but now customers have no requirements for TV, and they have higher requirements for wireless terminals.
Huanai Design Fund: The original intention of the Huanai Design Fund is to help more young designers grow up. As a designer, what are your expectations and expectations for this fund?
Peng Zhaoxiong: I have been cooperating with Huanai for many years, and I have great confidence in your quality and service. I hope that the most important products of Huanai, whether doing design fund or service, should be the most important products, especially ceramic tile products, should do more matte, large board, this is definitely the future trend. In the first two years, Chengdu market to buy products is 800*800 bricks, now the basic is 3.6 meters, the big board is the absolute trend of ceramic tile. This has a greater relationship with the current trend style, do not require a lot of parquet, lines and other complex things in it, the big board is also based on the development trend.
