Guangdong Intellectual Property Trade Fair 2018 (hereinafter referred to as "Acquaintement Fair") was held in Nanfeng International Convention and Exhibition Center of Guangzhou from November 7th to 8th. The fair was jointly organized by Guangdong Provincial Market Supervision Administration (Intellectual Property Office), Guangzhou Municipal People's Government and China Patent Information Center. Guangzhou Science and Technology Service Industry Association participated in the fair as a group exhibitor.
The Forum is a large-scale international exchange event that integrates the exhibition and trading of intellectual property achievements, the Pearl River Forum, international cooperation and exchange and other elements to build a two-way circulation channel on the supply side of intellectual property, with "intellectual property operation" as the core. It aims to facilitate the construction of Guangzhou as an international science and technology innovation hub, and build a center for the industrialization of intellectual property trading in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. We will promote the transformation and application of innovative resources.
The association actively applied to the organizing committee for the special booth of 9m*12m in the exhibition area of universities and research institutes. Three member institutions, Guangzhou Metro Design and Research Institute, Pearl River Hydraulic Research Institute, Guangzhou Special Electromechanical Equipment Testing and Research Institute, were invited to build a special exhibition booth of "Science and Technology Services Make the City Better". The exhibition center focused on "smart subway", "smart water conservancy" and "smart elevator". Rich and detailed introduction materials were prepared on site. In addition, a professional service team is equipped to provide explanation services to show the project results and the transformation of intellectual property rights to the guests and experts in and outside the industry.
After the opening ceremony, the exhibition area of the Friendship Meeting was crowded, and the atmosphere was very warm. Chen Liangxian, Vice Governor of Guangdong Province, Wang Dong, Vice mayor of Guangzhou City and other provincial and municipal leaders visited the booth of Guangzhou Science and Technology Service Industry Association and guided the work. Secretary General Li Wei of the association made an overall explanation and report to the visiting leaders.

Yang Wenlong, Vice President of Pearl River Hydraulic Research Institute, introduced the intellectual property of intelligent water conservancy to promote urban development.
Guangzhou Metro Design and Research Institute focused on the operation of intellectual property trading in relevant research fields and the achievements of intellectual property input and output demand from the perspectives of smart travel and intelligent operation in Guangzhou, and the reporting work was praised by relevant leaders.
