"Multi-scene Traffic congestion Simulation System based on Big Data" is based on big data of urban traffic congestion (including road traffic flow, road travel time, road patency, congestion frequency distribution, etc.), and constructs a complete data analysis and auxiliary decision-making closed-loop of congestion management. Relying on high-precision map, the system provides big data support for online traffic simulation through the integration and analysis of external field electric alarm, bayonet passing vehicle, floating vehicle, Internet and other data. At the same time, the system can realize the normal identification and early warning of road congestion according to different periods (peak, flat peak, low peak) and different scenarios (rain and snow weather, holidays, etc.), and use the visual interface and model tools to analyze the congestion formation mechanism, so as to effectively simulate the traffic operation rules under multiple scenarios in the whole region. At present, the system has been implemented in Ningbo, Nanjing, Shijiazhuang and other cities. Through continuous simulation optimization and verification evaluation of traffic flow and signal schemes, urban road traffic capacity has been significantly improved. The average number of waiting red lights in key sections of Ningbo city has dropped from 2.5 to 1.8, and the ranking of urban congestion has also dropped from 44 to 70.
