From April 23 to 26, 2018, the 2018 World Book Day themed activities sponsored by China Social Welfare Foundation and undertaken by China Social Welfare Foundation Yebai Public Welfare Foundation were held in Fengjie County, Wanzhou District and Wuxi County of Chongqing Municipality and Xinyang City, Henan Province. China Social Welfare Foundation Ye Bai Foundation (hereinafter referred to as Ye Bai Foundation), as a public welfare institution with the mission of "improving children's reading level", hopes to advocate sharing books, sharing stories, sharing knowledge, contributing love, paying attention to children's reading and sharing a happy reading life through this activity. This activity includes three parts: "Reading and Painting" theme activity, "Yip Bookcase - a Book for Love" donation activity and Yip charity fourth birthday party.
On April 23, 2018, the theme activity of "Reading and Painting" on the 2018 World Reading Day was successfully held in Yongle Primary School in Fengjie, Chongqing. In the activity, the children brought vivid performances such as story meeting and poetry recitation for everyone. The on-site guests carefully watched the performances of the children and scored them, and awarded exquisite prizes to the winning class.

In addition, the donation ceremony of "Cypress Bookcase - A Book for Love" was successfully held in Chongqing Wanzhou Qinglong Quan Primary School and Hekou Quan Primary School on April 24. A total of 1,490 books and 63 bookcases were donated to five primary schools in Wanzhou District. In this activity, Mr. Chen Xuewen, chairman of Beijing Binchen Media Group and a caring person named Yip Partners, also went to Chongqing with Yip's staff and witnessed the children's need for reading, their love for new bookcases and their desire for exquisite books.

Yang Yue, the management committee of Yabo Public Welfare Fund, said that while reading brings happiness to children, it also brings immeasurable spiritual wealth to them and builds a free spiritual space and spiritual home for them, which is also the purpose of the project "Yabo Bookcase - A Book for Love".
At the same time, in Wuxi County, Yang Weifang, secretary general of Yebo Charity, Zhang Renwei, deputy secretary general of Chongqing Children's Rescue Foundation, and volunteers from Wuxi Mountain Volunteer Association visited Danmu Central Primary School in Bailu Town for a return visit of the project "Yebo Bookcase - a Book for Love", and had a more detailed understanding of children's reading. The secretary general of Yabo expressed appreciation for the school's support in promoting active reading among children, and hopes to replicate these experiences in more schools.

On April 26, 2018, the 2018 World Book Day and the 4th birthday party of Cypress Yap were held at Zhongshan Primary School in Pingqiao district, Xinyang City, central China's Henan Province. The love books donated by Beijing Fengtai No 5 Primary School also reached the children smoothly, and the children were very excited to pass them around.

According to Principal Yin, every Wednesday afternoon the school will hold a vivid and interesting picture book reading class, which the children are particularly enthusiastic about. Yin said that the picture books donated by Yabo are also very thoughtful. According to the age characteristics of students, books of different levels are donated to students of different grades.

After the donation ceremony, Yip spent its fourth birthday with the children. Yip and the children sang Happy birthday songs and cut the birthday cake together, receiving warm wishes from the children. In the future, Yabo will continue to work with children to grow up together.

The event series is also supported by Xiamen Extreme Interactive Network Technology Co., LTD., Beijing Fengtai Fifth Primary School, Xinjiang Fat Old Man Catering, Yang L Fan Club, and Peking University Audio-Video Press. A total of 63 bookcases, 2,399 books and daily necessities such as reading machines, skipping rope, watercolor pens and thermos cups were donated to 9 schools, covering a total of 2,000 students from 10 schools in Chongqing and Henan.
By December 2017, Yebo Charity had donated 4,000 small bookcases and more than 400,000 books to more than 900 schools in Sichuan, Yunnan, Guizhou, Gansu and Ningxia provinces. Yang Weifang, secretary general of Yabo Charity, said that Yabo Charity's achievements in the past four years were made possible by the joint efforts of many donors and volunteer partners. What is more important for them in the future is to continue to deliver more books to more people and help more children read happily. She also looks forward to more caring enterprises and people participating in Yabo's activities to witness the changes of children.
