February 7, 2018, the 22nd day of the Twelfth Lunar Month, one day before the New Year in Northern China. Zhao Tianzhu, President of Lankao Chamber of Commerce of Henan Province, together with the Internet finance brand "Cloud Money Bag", went to Liucun Town Nursing Home (including the Children's Welfare Department), Changping District, Beijing for a love visit before the Spring Festival.
The nursing home is located in Xiaoshuiyu Village, 11 kilometers southwest of Liucun Town. Mountain road bends more, start in the morning, arrived at close to noon. As soon as the car arrived, I saw the warm smiling face of President Liu of the nursing home. After a brief exchange of pleasantries, the assistant president of Lankao Chamber of Commerce, Yun Qianbao and some family members of the nursing home took a photo together before the New Year shopping.
After the group photo, President Liu gave us a brief introduction of the nursing home. Liucun nursing home covers an area of 3600 square meters, construction area of 2200 square meters, 76 rooms, 160 beds, Changping District is the only comprehensive social welfare home. Caring for the disabled elderly and children nearly 40 people. Among the children and elderly in the hospital, the oldest is 91 years old and the youngest is 2 years and one month old. Most of these elderly children are disabled or have congenital diseases. Such as: cerebral palsy, binocular blindness, mental illness, hydrocephalus, cleft palate, deaf-mute, congenital heart disease, esophageal atresia and many other children have not been diagnosed with the disease.
Let's first look at the hardware and material level of the nursing home. The elderly and children here can enjoy basic and effective protection in the four aspects of food, clothing, housing and transportation (activity space).
Let's look at the soft environment. From the face of the aunt who takes care of the child, we can see that the expression is peaceful and loving, and the spirit is optimistic. The children were enthusiastic and played quickly with their friends without the expected social barriers. The smiles of the old people come from the bottom of their hearts, and the signs are filled with love and care, creating a soft environment full of love.
In such an environment, children's growth and physical and mental health have been effectively cared and loved. This can be seen in the playful works of art that children put on the walls. Without the love of life and a good soul, it would not be possible to paint such beautiful handmade works.
In the upper left, the child in a wheelchair, like Hawking, suffers from ALS and is weak, but is mentally advanced for his age. He was holding an aircraft carrier that he had built himself, and normally it would take a four or five year old kid two days to build it, and he did it in two hours.
The little beauty on the left is fifteen years old. Yoo said she came here when she was 2 years old. Both legs were valgus and he couldn't walk at all. After careful care in the hospital and regular rehabilitation programs, he is now able to walk unaided. Speaking, Liu dean let a little beauty go, little beauty is not shy, generous around us a big circle. The friends of Cloud money Bag applaud and congratulate her health.
Two hours passed in the blink of an eye, in order not to delay the old people and children in the hospital to eat, they are ready to return. When we arrived at the gate, Liu told us, "These old people and children are under the control of the state, which allocates money every month. They don't have to worry about being physically insecure, but they are just so lonely that, with the exception of some of the able children who can be taken out on a regular basis, many of the incapacitated children cannot leave the nursing home for their own safety. On the way back to the city, a partner of the Cloud Money Bag team lamented: compared with them, they are already very happy if they can live healthily.
I would like to express my special thanks to Mr. Zhao Tianzhu, President of Henan Lankao Chamber of Commerce, for his support of this charity activity, and to Mr. Zhao's assistant, who escorted the whole journey by special car. Mr. Zhao is a very careful person, and he carefully communicated with President Liu before leaving, asking him what the elderly and children need most. Every year, when the master steamed bread was very hard, Mr. Zhao specially sent a gift box of 100 jin of pure handmade steamed bread from his hometown in Henan province. Mr. Zhao's serious attitude and pragmatic approach to public welfare are worth learning from.
