From enjoying the exquisite life to loving the wild climbing

In his spare time, Song Qiang likes to make all kinds of desserts and special food by himself. A variety of pure natural materials on his hands, finally presented in a variety of exquisite shapes, these enough to prove his pursuit of high quality of life. Every time in the lively party, he always quietly accompanied everyone, always inadvertently took out the dessert made by oneself, let everyone taste, and then shy away, so everyone affectionately called him "strong brother".

His daily work begins with packing up his equipment. Every time I go out, I have a computer in my hand, a camera around my neck, and a bunch of lenses and camera batteries in my bag. "Johnny, hurry up and start shooting." Each time, he calmly and skillfully arranged the reflector frame, adjusted the lighting, and pressed the shutter. After finishing, he silently cleaned the lens of the camera, and finally organized the corresponding equipment and put it in the camera bag. His skillful movements reveal his love of photography!

Song Qiang is the coach of Huannai Mountaineering team, responsible for the daily training of the team members, and he is also the professional photographer of the company. It seems that two completely different jobs have to be carried out at the same time when climbing the mountain. While consuming a lot of physical strength, I have to be responsible for the whole shooting work. In the eyes of ordinary people, I feel too tired! "Climbing and photography are both things I like to do," he says with a smile. "There is so much fun in them that I don't want to give up any of them!" What a firm answer! However, it takes extraordinary strength to be able to carry the equipment and complete the shooting task on a snowy mountain above 6,000 meters. He first came into contact with the mountains while filming a documentary about them in 2009. When he climbed the snow mountain, he found that his body can adapt to the snow mountain climate, since then he has another hobby: climbing!

Climbing is not like living, always shocking

October 11, 2012, that is the day that will never be forgotten. On that day, he climbed Baima Mountain, a dangerous peak in Yunnan Province, with Sun Bin, the coach of the national Mountaineering team. It's a new route. The whole mountain, no roads, only cliffs. It's a vertical climb. A total of four members climbed this time. There was a 50-meter height that took two hours. Two of the team members were so exhausted that they eventually landed vertically on the ground using rope locks. But Song Qiang did not give up. He followed Sun Bin closely. After three hours of arduous climbing, he became the second person to reach the summit.

Standing at the top of the mountain, the tangled feeling of joy and terror, though brief, was deeply and clearly engraved in his heart, and from then on, he had more awe for the snow mountain.

Now, Song Qiang has completed the first six climbing tasks of "endless 7+2". With good physical ability, he had no problem climbing the first few mountains. But in the summit of Mount Qomolangma, he "had an accident", in the summit retreat to 8700 meters, Song Qiang's oxygen valve did not work. Fortunately, the guide edge bar and the international team captain Nima in the shortest time for him to replace the spare oxygen valve.

This is a race between time and life. In the 2 minutes without oxygen, Song Qiang felt the danger of hypoxia. "In the 2 minutes when the oxygen valve did not work, I felt dizziness caused by hypoxia and my consciousness began to weaken". The guide edge bar then gave his oxygen to Song Qiang.

"The moment I put my own oxygen mask back on, I felt the world was so beautiful." Song Qiang in telling the eyes full of moving, and another thing on the way to the summit let us also see the great Song Qiang.

"At about 8,500 meters, I found a Sherpa from another expedition company. He had hung himself on the line and had been sitting in the snow, somewhat unconscious. My guide, Bian Ba, asked him. Song Qiang now recall is still fresh.

"During questioning I noticed that his right glove was missing and I gave him the right hand of my thin glove. Bianba opened his backpack and found that his oxygen bottle and regulator mask were there, but he had run out of oxygen. I told Bianba to give him a bottle of my spare oxygen, hoping to save him in danger."

In the end, the god of fate did not disappoint Song Qiang's life oxygen, the Sherpa successfully rescued.

In 8600 meters on the Mount Qomolangma Song Qiang with his own oxygen to help others, is the need to pay a great deal of courage and the price, because he also do not know the bottle of oxygen to help others, before reaching the safety of their own need, because accidents will happen at any time.

After the experience of Everest rescue and rescued two kinds of experience, in the view of Song Qiang, climbing this sport, bring him the biggest perception is to reduce personal heroism, he said: "people in nature is actually very small, but also let the relationship between people and people become more pure, so, some things, not want to catch can catch, now their own more peaceful look at some people some things." Therefore, in his spare time, he still made his cake, and skillfully ground and brewed coffee. "It is a very happy thing to have a cup of coffee with the team members on the high altitude mountain."
