On June 28, the east section of Nanning rail transit line 1 officially opened its trial operation, marking the Nanning City has officially stepped into the subway era, and Guangxi also becomes our country's first ethnic minority autonomous region that opens subway.
Nanning Rail Transit Line 1 has a total length of 32.1km and 25 stations. The east section of Nanning Rail Transit Line 1, which is in trial operation, runs from Nanning Nanhu Station to Nanning East Railway Station. The line is 11.2km long and has 10 stations. The line connects with trains, buses and taxis at Nanning East Railway Station. It is of great significance to create a national bus city by establishing a multi-dimensional comprehensive transportation system which is complemented by taxi, bicycle and other transportation modes.
Hitachi Elevators provided 198 Hitachi public transit escalators for Nanning Rail Transit Line 1. This type of escalator is designed to meet the requirements of heavy-duty transportation of China's bus type escalator. In terms of truss strength, driving and braking performance, it is designed to exceed the requirements of the industry. It is equipped with more than 30 safety devices to ensure the safety of passengers in an all-round way. At the same time, Hitachi elevator also focuses on how to move more smoothly and ride comfort in the urban transportation system, starting from various details of urban transportation research and development and design of escalators and automatic walkways, in order to meet the needs of more diverse urban development, to create a humanized urban transportation solutions.
Currently, all subway lines 1 to 3 in Nanning are under construction, and the construction of Line 4 will be completed by the end of June this year. The whole line of Line 1 will be put into trial operation on December 28, the first phase of Line 2 is scheduled to be completed and put into operation in 2017, the first phase of Line 3 is scheduled to be put into trial operation in 2019, and the first phase of Line 4 will be put into trial operation in 2020. In the future, Hitachi Elevator will continue to help Nanning's rail transit construction, and contribute to building Nanning's multi-dimensional comprehensive transportation system, building a national bus city, building a regional international comprehensive transportation hub city and a modern ecological livable city.
