/PRZWT/ Shanghai, China, January 23, 2026 - Through the "Make the Future Better" Dream Summer Camp program and its long-term commitment to community engagement, Goodyear recently received the "Urban Resonance Model Award" from "Shanghai Daily" for its outstanding corporate social responsibility case in 2025, as well as the "2025 Annual Responsibility Brand Award" at the 15th Charity Festival.
Goodyear has always been committed to actively giving back to the communities where it operates. The "Making the Future Better" Goodyear Dream Summer Camp project, launched in 2024, aims to inspire students in remote rural areas to fully unleash their potential and lay the foundation for future higher education and career planning. Over the past two years, Goodyear's volunteers have visited Yunnan Province, bringing "Goodyear Mini Classrooms" focused on road safety and sustainable development to over 400 junior high school students there. Additionally, nearly 50 students were invited to Goodyear's Shanghai office in the Asia-Pacific region to participate in an immersive career enlightenment workshop.
Huang Jinongsong, the president of Goodyear Asia-Pacific, said: "As a global leading tire manufacturer with a history of over 127 years, corporate responsibility has long been deeply rooted in our company culture and is an extension of our business philosophy. At Goodyear, we firmly believe in the power of education and are well aware of the profound significance of setting aspirations for young people. This is precisely the original intention behind our launching of the 'Dream Summer Camp' project. These awards will inspire us to continue to expand our social influence and inject more resilience into the region. Goodyear's 'Making the Future Better' corporate responsibility framework encompasses four pillars: 'Sustainable Procurement', 'Responsible Operations', 'Advanced Mobility', and 'Inspiring Corporate Culture'. It will continue to guide our work in Asia-Pacific and globally."
Pei Bei, Vice President of Corporate Communications and Government Affairs for Goodyear in the Asia-Pacific region, said: "The 'Goodyear' Dream Summer Camp project aims to sow hope and empower rural students for a better future. We are extremely honored to collaborate with the Shanghai Association of Foreign-Invested Enterprises and the Shanghai Sun Yat-sen Memorial Foundation to jointly support the healthy growth of these young people."
The 2025 Outstanding Multinational Corporate Social Responsibility Case Award was initiated by Shanghai Daily and was carried out under the guidance of Shanghai Media Group International Communication Center, which is a part of Shanghai Media Group. This award aims to recognize the corporate practices that align with the key development priorities of Shanghai and contribute to social progress and sustainable growth. This year's award is divided into three categories: the Urban Resonance Model Award, the Innovation-driven Pioneer Award, and the Local Practice Leadership Award.
