Ping Xiaoli, vice president of Baidu Group and general manager of E-commerce business, announced on the spot that Baidu Huibo Star has been officially upgraded to a "full-scenario digital human platform", opened up the same "highly persuasive digital human" technology as Luo Yonghao to the entire industry, launched the first "real-time interactive digital human", and initiated the digital human overseas expansion strategy. This also marks a new stage for Baidu's digital humans, moving from tool application to ecological, platform-based and global development. This digital human also possesses a deep understanding of the physical world, capable of perceiving the on-site environment, recognizing others' clothing and movements, and even comprehending the "subtext" in interactions. Initiating a global layout, digital humans were the first to land in Brazil
After achieving large-scale application of digital human live streaming in China, Baidu Huibo Star has also officially launched its global strategy, leveraging the full-scenario capabilities of digital humans to engage with global consumers.
Currently, Baidu Huibo Star has taken the lead in launching digital human live streaming services in Brazil. The conversion rate of some digital human live streamers has surpassed that of local real live streamers, effectively addressing the pain point of the scarcity of high-quality local live streamers in overseas markets.
In the future, Baidu Huibo Star will focus on key markets such as the United States, Brazil and Southeast Asia, and accelerate its expansion into global mainstream platforms like Amazon and Shopee. Baidu Youxuan has also built a full-stack product matrix for intelligent e-commerce, launching the "Intelligent Business System" for merchants and the "Intelligent Shopping Guide" for users, which has helped e-commerce achieve leapfrog growth. Yin Guandong, director of Baidu's E-commerce Merchant Operations Department, disclosed that in the past year, the scale of high-quality new merchants in Baidu's smart e-commerce increased by 552% year-on-year, the number of merchants with monthly sales of over one million rose by 125%, the annual buyer number of "Worry-Free Selection" IP merchants increased by 825%, and the number of repeat purchase users in the following month grew by over 700%, demonstrating strong development momentum.
